So, Asylum of The Daleks is just mere hours away. I figured since no one else was talking about it, I'd open up a thread and see how man FAN'ers are Whovians.

I cannot wait.
T minue 5 weeks!
No more stupid ginger Mary Sue show focus sucking up air time!
Maybe we'll actually get a show about the Doctor, rather than the 'Amy Pond show featuring Rory with some Doctor bloke.'

Matt Smith is personally my favorite Doctor, with David Tennant and Patrick Troughton taking second place for me. So yeah, I'm pretty excited.

He's alright, he's not my favourite, but he's grown on me a lot since his first appearance.
It's when he gets shouty and tough that I find he loses it for me, he doesnt have the face for shouty and tough

When he gets serious and dramatic it just doesn't fit.

I've grown accustomed to having Doctor Who to watch during the Summer, so it really sucked not having any this year but can't wait for this tonight and I guess I have another show to add to my Autumn lineup.

Not for long though, only 5 episodes will be in the fall, then the Christmas Speciel and the rest sometime next year.

I'm really excited for this series, because The Master might be back and The Doctor rides a triceratops!

I thought it kind of hurt the flow of the season last year but I can live with it. Who with gaps in between is better than no Who at all.

I'm just giddy over Mike McShane of all people being cast as a baddie this series. Since I predominantly know him from Whose Line and his minor role in Office Space, it should be a fun difference to see, though I did her that he most of his defining weight.
Can they get Stephen Fry in the series please?
