This time with that old bag again. I wish they would write her off... she makes me want to vomit looking at her. Eddie Guerrero must not have too demanding of a guy... While I didn't see this particular segment (#teamchangeitstrong), Vickie Guerrero the character on TV is probably a lot different from Vickie Guerrero the person. And I think she's really great at what she does, people sure hate her. I don't think she's obnoxious like that in real life, and it must have taken a lot for her to support him through all his bulls***. She's a sweetheart in real life according to everyone that isn't Tony Atlas.

You quite possibly may be the only person that did. I enjoyed it as well. Maybe it went a tad too long but it got the basic message across that AJ has lost her sanity I think if it were shorter it would have been fine. There were things about it that were good, but it didn't need to be two segments. Bite your tongue.

It made AJ show vulnerability, which she needs. It also made Vickie seem like a manipulative witch. The whole laughing/skipping was a great heel tactic. I thought this board would enjoy it. Some people will just hate AJ segments, no matter what. The gist of the segment was fine and made sense, but it was about twice as long as it should've been. There was a lot of dead mic time that didn't really add anything.

AJ has never been any good at getting sympathy, and her GM character is as unsympathetic as it gets. And Vickie has definitely crossed the line into detracting from things more than she adds, imo. She was good in the segment tonight, but stories involving her rarely have any kind of satisfying resolution, and thus don't really need to be told.

Do these power control stories draw big ratings or something? There's gotta be a reason why WWE insists on them again and again, because it sure as hell isn't because they're exciting.

Bugs me more that they are rehashing the same old
Heels claim discrimination and are hyporcites
Face loses job
Heel becomes evil GM
angle they did less than a year ago.

The GM would be getting a ton of screen time no matter who it was. AJ haters refuse to realize this

I don't want to see any more GM's, heel or face, for a long, long time.

Loosing control over top stars. Having star talent leave under her control. Then snapping in the middle of the ring? Is this the lady we want leading our product?

It's not her fault! Everyone's leaving her! Don't you remember that scene a few weeks ago when Chris Jericho stormed out of the arena without wrestling at all in any sort of match?

As pro AJ as I am, with the exception of the Vickie situation (since Vickie's clearly jealous she didn't get the job) and possibly Swagger, she brought it on herself. I would assume Punk certainly has the power to call an off day, Swagger decides he needs some time off due to his slump and Jericho's gone because she put his contract on the line. Vickie's certainly a witch for exploiting the "Nyah, nyah, can't touch me!" rule.
If she's really a capable GM, she'll be able to bounce back from one off day.

AJ made an incredible transition where for one month she was the most interesting thing on the program to immediately being "change the channel" pointless whenever she appears. As soon as she shows up, I stop caring. That's sad.
Don't know what can be done to salvage it at this point...
Rehire Mike Adamle?

Very good points, AJ never was good at drawing sympathy, her reactions during her pairing with Daniel Bryan says it all. Also I don't think this story is necessary nor will it have a satisfying ending. But I don't want to be too much of a debbie downer, because most of this Raw was very fun to watch.

They need to do away with the whole GM thing. It's become beyond stale and has no real purpose when the brands aren't really separate anymore. Having people as unqualified for the positions like AJ and Booker T makes the company look bad.
They need to get rid of the whole idea of GMs, go back to the days of one Authority figure like Jack Tunney that only appears when needed (rarely) and doesn't become involved in the show.

I actually don't mind the GMs. Whiel the brands aren't seperate, AJ and Booker T are still in charge of RAW the TV Show and SmackDown the TV Show. They are sort of like some odd cross between an executive producer and a stage manager. Booker T is actually qualified to be in his position due to being an experienced wrestler, a decorated champion, and because he came to the WWE as part of the Invasion, he has experience in dealing with power struggles and the like. AJ is a loose cannon. However, Mr. McMahon himself put her in that position, not because she's "qualified", but because Vince is evil and just wants to sit back and watch the chaos unfold.

So the GM of Raw position is basically like the Defense Against the Dark Arts position at Hogwarts, apparently.

It seemed like, for the first week or so being GM, they were going to allow her to be SRS AJ, where the crazy was kept to a minimum and the skipping was non-existent. And that was fine.
But no, they had to tell her "SKIP MOAR."

Atleast with adamle people can't complain that it's another heel or face GM in fact I have no idea what adamle was supposed to be
