Look at his accomplishments in 2012.
-World Heavyweight Champion -Defended said belt in the Elimination Chamber and got a damn good showing out of Santino Marella -Has had great matches with not only Mark Henry and Big Show, but Sheamus, and CM Punk. -Part of a major storyline involving Punk, Kane, and AJ -Gets Rock Bottomed by the Rock on the 1000th RAW -Insulted by Charlie Sheen -Speaking of Kane, has been involved in probably the comedy highlight of the year in WWE with the anger management classes and the "Hug it out!" segment on RAW -Oh, and some word that fans keep yelling out, used to be his thing. Now you hear it at sporting events, concerts, and any wrestling show out there and is probably the closest thing to usurping the "What?" chant that WWE has ever seen.
And we're not even at the end of the year. I'd go as far as saying he is the MVP of wrestling so far this year.

I'd absolutely give it to him. Punk got it the last 2 years, but Bryan's awesome heel breakout, coupled with this lame heel Punk, gives it to Bryan this year.
And in case anyone cares, I got Damien Sandow down for Rookie of the Year, and the Prime Time Players for Most Improved.

Bryan's done a lot this year so it's definitely his breakout year. Completely agree to the highest power on that one.

He is having one of the most crazy awesome years I've ever seen. He's been involved in stuff that would bury lesser men, yet his commitment to it all just infectious and fans everywhere are taking notice.

Just watch the crowd next time Daniel makes his entrance. EVERYONE is moving or doing something when he comes out, be it chanting YES or NO, booing him, cheering him, or anything in between. The crowds aren't just making noise, they are actually animated, and nobody has gotten anything like this in WWE in years.

His segments are ridiculously fun to watch and you can tell the guy's having the time of his life out there.
I think that part of wrestling has been missing.
I think wrestling fans a lot of times forget about that fun factor.
A lot of times, we're so worried about whether or not our favorite guy gets pushed and focused on stuff we don't like about the product.
It's nice to see segments like that that remind us why we became fans in the first place.

He has to be. There is nobody that has had a year on his level.

Yeah, no argument from me - dude has been taking the shit sandwiches WWE has been dishing out, and then proceeding to knock it out of the park each time. The best part is that they remind the audience every so often that LOLZ HE LOST HIS TITLE IN 18 SECONDS...and the audience responds in kind with "shut up, that was stupid and you should feel bad for doing it, we like this guy so deal with it." Dude has hit the stratosphere and it is just awesome to watch.

He's definitely the MVP of WWE, all of wrestling might be a bit different but there's no doubting Bryan has been a hugely entertaining part of 2012. You know you're gonna enjoy his segments regardless of what they are. Serious promo will be good. Crazy, goofy segments will be good. Matches will be good. It's just awesome. That being said I did think they dragged the hug thing out a little too long last night. But for the most part it was funny.

Not a fan of Bryan, but I have to admit he's more interesting than Punk by several magnitudes.

I think Punk could be the MVP of 2012, but Bryan is a close second. I think Bryan is transitioning from a World Title Challenger to a comedy midcarder for the rest of the year. I hope I'm wrong on that.

What's remarkable is all the best things he's done, have not involved wrestling matches. From the guy who's probably the best all around wrestler skillwise in the ring they have.

Bryan's finally proven that all his hype was justified. It was already well established how versatile an in-ring performer he was, but this year he's stepped out as a complete "pro wrestler" in how good an actor he's become.
Now we know he can shine in wacky sports entertainment stuff as well as pure wrestling feuds, and ideally all wrestlers should want to excel in both areas.

Dude knocks it out of the park each and every time.
Though he has a style all his own, reminds me of Angle circa 2001 where he can be goofy outside the ring and tear it up inside of it!

He boosts literally everyone around him whether in the ring or in segments. He made the BIG SHOW somewhat interesting for a couple of weeks.

Definitely the MVP of 2012. I've seen him in ROH and this year rivals his time as ROH Champion with how good he is, in my opinion.
