I don't think I've ever cringed so much in my history of watching wwe, she comes across more spoilt child than crazy to me. Anyway what did you guys think of this segment? ( I thought vickie was great in it I really wanted to see her get her ass kicked)

I really disliked the segment. The screaming is seriously just so obnoxious; it should be a standing policy for the Divas to not screech like that. She really did come off as some spoiled little kid going through a temper tantrum. The whole thing went way too long, too; partly because of her slow response time.

I don't really get this storyline. Are we supposed to feel sympathetic for AJ? How can we do that when she's become the Raw GM despite not having ANY qualifications for the job, toying with Punk/Daniel/Kane for the past few months, and then needlessly firing Jericho two weeks ago?
Is it supposed to showcase her as being crazy? She's been doing that since April, the fans KNOW that she's crazy now. And anyways, I thought the sensible thing to do would be to tone her down since becoming the General Manager and show her smart side, but since she's gotten the position she's been inept (putting Jericho's career on the line in a throwaway match, letting Punk leave so easily last night, not knowing anything about the Brock/Shawn incident) and acted like a child. Attacking Vickie last week was stupid for a person in a position of power, and now she's crying about it because she can't attack her again.
I've said this before and I'll say it again - nothing involving AJ makes any damn sense.

I just saw it as the Board of Directors taking away AJ's ability to suspend and fire people, because of her previous abuse of power.

Or just put her in a squash match with another diva (returning Beth Phoenix) Oh wait we're only allowed one divas match per show if we're lucky

Eh I enjoyed it but I can see why people did not like it. I just saw it as AJ losing all her sanity now that she been striped of most of her power and now she is realizing she has lost control of her show.

It would help if she had said that, as then it would make sense for Vickie to slap her and not worry about the consequences.

Harsh. I loved it. As a standalone segment, it was mostly great and the crowd was ready for her to let loose. I was saying on another forum that AJ was giving me Summer Glau as Cameron vibes which is a great compliment.
I definitely would have cut out the breakdown at the end though. AJ is much, much better with her expressions than she is having to be completely ostentatious. But this is WWE. They often enjoy taking something at least fairly nuanced and then piss all over it.

Or just put her in a squash match with another diva (returning Beth Phoenix) Would've been the perfect time to bring back Kharma.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that when an employee physically assaults you unprovoked, you can fire them. If they said no they can't due to the previous events that would've made some (rather, more than zero) sense, but they didn't. It went way too long, it was presented in a way that made no sense, and yeah it really came off as AJ being a child throwing a temper-tantrum at the end, as opposed to garnering sympathy (which I assume is what they were aiming for).
On the bright side, no more skipping!

Yeah I was thinking are we meant to feel sorry for her?! Because all I saw was a petulant brat losing her temper. Very strange.

I willing to work with them here, but I just don't think AJ can emote this quite correctly. It's not like they're helping her though. They're all over the place with this. There's no build. She'll just be happy bouncy again at the start of next week's Raw. If she's to snap, they need to be more consistent because no one involved can apparently handle gradual decay.

Re-watching that segment just now, what was so obvious was how much better of an on-screen performer Vickie was compared to AJ. Vickie was able to perform her character to a T with her mic skiils and her facial works, while AJ just can't talk, to be honest. All she has is that one facial expression and that's it. when she tries anything else, it's quite bad.
