Ugh. So I've had a ton on my mind lately, especially with school starting again. I get a good night's sleep, but I've just had so much on my mind lately that I feel completely dead right now - like I'm watching a movie of my life instead of actually living in it. It's hard to explain, but I hope it makes sense. From what I've read, when the brain feels overworked, it practically shuts down - to the point where your body is going, but your mind is just not there. If this has happened to you, what do you do? I hate feeling like this, it sucks. I feel better the day after, assuming I get a good night's sleep, but feeling like a zombie all day long is just the worst.

Take a nap.

That actually did help quite a bit, thanks.

I don't know why society has such an aversion to the nap. It's the perfect solution to so many problems.
