I love PTP outside of the ring, but in it they bore me to death, I'm totally OK with Bryan and Kane getting a shot. Agreed. Their segment with AJ earlier in the night was great, but I don't have any real desire to see them in-ring or anything. I kinda like Bryan/Kane becoming a team too, so I don't mind them getting pushed aside for them. They'll eventually get their run, anyway.

Kane and Bryan could be the roadblock for ReyCara, a super-team as it is. I could easily see them giving the belts to Kane and Bryan for that reason.

I really enjoyed the PTP tonight. I thought they were very entertaining backstage. It sucks for them about losing their spot, but it's hard to blame WWE for giving the spot to Bryan and Kane.

Give BryKane the titles, and they could be the X-Pac & Kane of our generation.

I don't mind because Kane and Bryan are awesome. Better WWE to give us their epic tag team now than later when their feud might be stale or less hot. PTP will get other chances, and Kane and Bryan tag team won't.

This'll be just as awesome as Jerishow, if they win the belts of course.

Really sucks for them, and they were getting bigger with each appearance. Will the PTP ever gain the their momentum back? Just because someone is hot now, doesn't mean they'll be hot in a couple of months, and with the way WWE treats it's tag teams, like this incident, they might never have another title shot, let alone win the Tag Team belts.

I still expect Booker T to intervene and make this a 3 way match.

Hmm, wonder if the wwe.com article is titled "Not Ready For Prime Time Players?"

Will it be in time to get past the whole "Bryan/Kane" angle? They'd better hope so.

I don't agree with the whole "They'll get more title shots" sentiment when a division was still building upon it's foundation. Why not make it a triple threat? That way Two more guys get time on a PPV, there is a better chance that the match will steal the show, people won't forget about the PTPs and its not and extremely predictable outcome. If Bryan and Kane win the Tag titles, you can say bye to the decent tag-division that was being built. Not because of Bryan and Kane, but because the huge amount of fan interest alone will make this story go on and on and on until we're sick of it (see A.J. Lee) And when that happens, everyone will completely forget about that tag team with Ezekiel Jackson Titus O'Neil and Darren Young.
And the story behind Kane and Bryan recieving a title shot is just stupid. Kane and Bryan were never officially a tag team, they are just two people involved in an awesome program. PTP has probably defeated every tag team three times by now and a week before NOC they decide to conveniently recognize Kane and Bryan as a tag team. At least back in 2002, Angle and Benoit worked their asses off for a title shot at No Mercy. But this is just so stupid and insulting.

I think the PTP ould still have a shot.
The problem with the tag division isn't so much "two thrown together main eventers who need to stay relevant keep getting the belts". The problem is that the only people getting any real focus are the champions and the current #1 contenders.
For now why not book the Prim Time Players in a non title feud that gets a decent amount of build to it? Or book one of them in a singles feud. Like have Titus O'Neil doing a short mini-feud with Zack Ryder. Zack keeps losing to interference from Darren Young. Eventually Zack is forced to make "one phone call" and this leads to a Major Broskis reunion.

They built up anticipation for the tag team match Sunday. The 2 month build up, with Kofi/Truth and the PTP, even when they had AW. They had me interested and focused more on the tag team championship match Sunday, than the Punk/Cena match. Then they just ripped it out from underneath. It's like Johnny from Airplane pulling the electric cord. JUST KIDDING. Thanks a lot WWE.

I said this in the RAW thread, but this isn't even about screwing over the tag division. It's about shoehorning Kane and Bryan onto the card because they're main eventers and they "have to" be on the card otherwise they're "buried" or "lost in the shuffle".

It wouldn't kill them to miss a PPV.

They were building up the division, but ran into a "Frenemy" angle and so the growth of the division gets bumped for storyline purposes.

It should be a nice change of pace to see Bryan/Kane challenge for the tag titles, but I do agree with the PTP being screwed over. The match and the stipulation did seem more like Vince had a last minute change of heart.

The internet likes when they fed the tag team division and the tag titles and use it just to push 2 main eventers that are enemies working together. Just don't go complaning later that they need to focus more on the tag team division and all that

Well, at least it was a kayfabe "fluke", instead of Kane chokeslamming one to hell while DB taps the other one out.
