They got a good amount of tv time, and probably will get more as peripherally part of a hot anglw. I love PTP, but have no issue with what happened.

Personally, Kane and Bryan do make a good team.
However, it also shows that the WWE's original tag teams aren't really that impressive. Ever since they lost AW, they've lost their voice, so to speak.

Disagree there. They're ten times better sans AW

They are the most annoying team I think I've ever seen. Their talking sucks and that absolutely stupid hugging dance routine they do is just absolutely beyond awful and looks so stupid. So I'm more than happy they got "screwed over".

As much as I dislike the PTP, I will admit that I'm frustrated that they lost their title shot like this.
I absolutely love tag teams, so WWE seemingly paying more attention to the division has been making me so so happy over the past handful of months. Some people might think, "But, look- two main eventers in a tag team, that must be good!" Buuuut I can't help being pessimistic and thinking it's NOT going to be a good thing. As much as I enjoy the humour of Daniel Bryan and Kane teaming, I feel like it's just going to end up as too much 'comedy'. A little comedy is totally fine, but I know WWE tends to beat things way into the ground. Either that, or I can see Bryan/Kane going on to feud with Rey/Cara, passing the belts to them, and then WWE returning to their "tag teams, who cares" attitude, with all the other tag teams falling to the wayside.
I just got back from class and am really sleepy right now, but I hope I've conveyed what I mean at least kinda well, haha.

So we'll get a month of so of the Tag Titles basically being useless, w/e.

On the plus side,a Bryan & Kane team is a huge improvement for the tag team division.
But PTP really deserved that should and should've went on to win the titles. They could've teamed up Kane and Bryan in a later time, this sucks.

I'd rather the titles be on a hot team like Kane and Bryan than on PTP where they will go weeks without even being featured on the main show or defending the titles. Speaking of which I wish they could do like they did with the IC title and bring back the old design of the tag titles.

two main eventers as a tag team will NOT be a good team. They will just destroy all the tag teams, make the tag division look like fools and use the belt for their own feud

Prime Time Players aren't ready for it yet. Team Friendship is pretty awesome. The PTP will get their day.

Speaking of which I wish they could do like they did with the IC title and bring back the old design of the tag titles. PTPs have already been featured on the main shows regularly even without the titles. I don't see why they would go weeks without making an appearance if they won them.

WHAT THE f*** DO THE PTP HAVE TO DO TO GET THE TAG BELTS?
Seriously!
Every Tom, Dick and Harry gets a f***ing world heavyweight title reign if the mutants at MSG choose not to boo them and the PTP are over, entertaining and have managed to stay awesome despite their idiot manager getting himself fired via rape joke, but instead we just keep jobbing them out to two guys who actually should have probably had world title reigns and haven't yet. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
edit: In the latter case I meant Truth and Kofi, by the way, not Kane and Bryan.

If PTP got bumped from the show, it means they likely weren't winning it anyway.
I think that, actually, Kane and Bryan will do some good for rebuilding the division. I think I may have explained this in a previous thread, but they can show up as two established, over people both previously in the title picture. They're not a "real" tag team and they do have a history together, so whomever they drop it to (who could be either faces or heels, since they're over enough to work a heel vs. heel feud) has an easy way to get over. Both lose in singles competition because Bryan and Kane are far above their level, but they lack the same teamwork and coordination. Put over that the team has been tagging far longer and have a better rapport, and eventually they manage to beat these two guys who just don't have it. I'd say a win there would do a lot more for the PTP in giving them a solid opponent to beat, instead of Kofi and Truth who are really just going through the motions and would make it feel like "okay, they had their run now let them drop because we're bored".

I'm not upset about it, because I saw it happening as soon as the anger management started working.
WWE can't help themselves, plus they don't care about tag teams. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT TAG TEAMS.
THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT TAG TEAMS.

I think that, actually, Kane and Bryan will do some good for rebuilding the division. I highly doubt that. Those two aren't about the titles, they're about that anger management storyline. That's what's going to get the focus, not the division or the belts. Kofi/Truth vs. PTP was about the division. Kofi/Truth vs. Bryan/Kane is probably going to be about Bryan and Kane and nothing else.
