What makes all this talk when they left funnier is that out of all of them, Jason is the only one to ever return (well, the guy who played Zack did a voice of one of the villains in "Forever Red", but still). I know Adam came back for an episode of Power Rangers in Space and I think Power Rangers S.P.D He came back for the once a ranger 15th anniversary episode which was probably the only highlight of that power rangers season.

Oh ok that's the one. I thought it was the style of forever red with all the black rangers. I'm guessing it was just a random mix.

I know Adam came back for an episode of Power Rangers in Space and I think Power Rangers S.P.D His second return was in Operation Overdrive, for that awful "Once A Ranger" two-parter. ' I loved Operation Overdrive simply for the massive clusterf*** of villains, and Mack's Pinocchio story kind of made me cry.

I know most probably know this but for anyone who wants to track down the Sentai series that where adapted into Power Rangers here is the full list
MMPR - Zyuranger, Dairanger (for White, Tiger zord and Thunder zords) and Kakuranger (For Alien Rangers, Ninja zords and Shogon Zords and Ninjor)
Zeo - Ohranger
Turbo - Carranger
In Space - Megaranger
Lost Galaxy - Gingaman
Lightspeed Rescue - GoGo-V
Time Force - Timeranger
Wild Force - Gaoranger
Ninja Storm - Hurricanger
Dino Thunder - Abaranger
S.P.D - Dekaranger
Mystic Force - Magiranger
Operation Overdrive - Boukenger
Jungle Fury - Gekiranger
RPM - Go-Onger
Samurai/Super Samurai - Shinkenger
Mega Force (next series) - Goseiger
Because of Disney pulling the show after RPM, selling the rights back to Saban, Japan are around 3 series ahead (current Sentai is Go-Busters and there is also a parody show called Akibaranger running as well)

I was really lookin forward to the next series being the adaption of Gokaiger. There's a high possibility that they'll tackle it, since they have shown footage of the scene from Gokaiger with all the Super Sentai teams in one massive brawl to tease what's to come in Megaforce.

Didn't Jason David Frank(Tommy) and Austin St John (Jason) have legitimate backstage heat because of Tommy's popularity and placement on the Totem Pole? I watched a power morphicon on youtube years ago that pretty much said they hated each other. I think Jason David Frank may have even called out St John.
I pretty much stopped watching Power Rangers shortly after the first movie. Once they weren't dinosaurs anymore I started to lose interest.

The second season is such a pain to watch. Amongst using footage from both Zyuranger AND Dairanger, plus stock footage/bad dub voices for actors who left the show and the insistence on using the same four shots of Lord Zedd in EVERY episode, THEN never even showing the monsters in American footage...it was a mess. plus the Zyu2 footage where they replace the megazord with shot of the thunderzord because they want to have the thunderzords but still have material for megazord....so they decided to cut and paste it into one thing.

I have to imagine this didn't slow down Jason's decision to go to the peace conference in Switzerland. Tommy gets to become leader, get the swank new costume, and bang Kimberly? The hell with that scene.
Did they ever explain when Jason, Zack, and Trini were supposed to come back from the peace conference? The name implies it was only a week at most, but Jason didn't resurface until... Zeo, was it?

Did they ever explain how the "Special Forces" types, like Lightspeed, Time Force, SPD, etc. gain their powers? Their Ranger powers were man-made rather than magical/supernatural. How exactly did they access the Morphin Grid.

It would have been cool to do a "disputed leadership" story
Zordon: Rangers, please welcome our new team member
Jason: Wow, this cool. A new ranger?
Zordon: Yes, the White Ranger
Jason: This is so exciting!
Zordon: Please welcome....the White Ranger.....TOMMY!
Jason: OMG, YES! This is awesome
Zordon: And he will be the new leader of the team
Jason: COOL, that's awes....whoa....wait a minute...new leader?
Zordon: Uh...yeah
Jason: Now listen here, you big stupid dimensional alien head, I'm the leader!
Tommy: Hey, come on man. Jason you need to calm down buddy
Jason: Don't you "buddy" me brotha.
Alpha: Please Rangers, don't fight
Jason: SHUT UP!

How exactly did they access the Morphin Grid. I think it's just a matter of finding ways to tap into the Morphing grid, I've also heard some theories that they reversed-engineered the powers from Zeo morphers/Zords or something.

I was really lookin forward to the next series being the adaption of Gokaiger. Apparently they are doing a 2 series run for Mega Force, similar to Samurai, where the first is adapting Goseiger, as mentioned in my other post while the 'Super' series will focus on adapting Gokaiger

Honestly the funniest part about Power Rangers was that couple of year period where they kept completely missing what the series they were adapting were. Turbo seems really dumb because the series it was adapted from, Gekisou Sentai Carranger, was a parody season that was incredibly goofy and comedic but Saban tried to adapt it as a serious thing.
Denji Sentai Megaranger was a show about virtual reality that was changed into being about space when it was adapted as In Space.
And because of In Space's success Lost Galaxy was intended to be another space series. The problem is that Seijuu Sentai Gingaman was a series about nature and protecting nature/the Earth.
After that it's mostly stayed consistent with what the general theme of its Sentai counterpart is supposed to be except Samurai which is basically a cut and paste job of Shinkenger such that you may as well call it a dub instead of an adaptation.

The funny thing about Turbo, was that the production crew were at an impasse in as to how to approach it, with half wanting the series to progress Power Rangers in a darker, story-based direction, and the other half wanting to match the goofy nature of Carranger.
And in fairness to In Space, the arsenal that the characters in Megaranger were at least mostly space-based, or close enough to being space-based that they could work around it.

Which was the season of Super Sentai when the American counterparts used Shogun Zords? Was that still the Ninja Rangers version?
edit: found my answer from one of the posts. Thanks guys!

How exactly did they access the Morphin Grid. i thought the Mophin Grid was based on just Zordon and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers timeline. I remember from PRiS when Adam morphed to save Carlos, and Alpha warned him that their Morphin Grid was already damaged and he might not survive.

Saban should just re-release Once a Ranger in DVD form, but instead insert the MMPR songs in there during Adam's scenes, like when he appears, during the fight with the mutant putties or whatever the f*** they were, during his morph, and during his morphed battles.

I just cannot wait to see SABANS take on how he pulls this one off , since apparently toei is re-filming it to only include the power ranger eras.
Just to see every ranger tommy has ever been face to face is gonna be something else.
