So, who will be the face of the company like Hogan, Austin, & Cena have been through the years?
I think it'll be between Ryback & Ziggler. I don't think it'll still be Cena since he'll be in his 40s by than. And we all know Vince likes to have the #1 guy in the company to be someone young. Hogan was 30 when he became the face of the company, Austin was 33, & Cena was only 28.

Honestly I think they are grooming Seth Rollins for that spot and the Cena push. Be between him and Sheamus.

Someone not on the main roster or the developmental roster.

I think it could be a good chance for it to be Ryback, but I think his age will hinder him being the top face in the long term.

It's still going to be frigging Cena and Sheamus.

Could be anybody. It's virtually impossible for any of us to predict this.

As much as they want him to Sheamus can't take Cena's spot. He's awful in any situation where fans turn on him. He's pretty bad on the mic for any extended time. He's recent feuds have been bad, and his boring superman push will only get worse.
Probably still Cena unless someone emerges from NXT or something.

I'm almost certain it won't be Cena. Chances that guy has more than five years left in his career are pretty low.

I could see Daniel Bryan possibly being a Bret Hart-style face of the company within a couple of years. He's one of the most over stars on the WWE roster. I think it could be a good chance for it to be Ryback, but I think his age will hinder him being the top face in the long term. Ryback's size and in-ring style also pretty much rule him out as having any lasting power (especially 5-10 years). His act is already getting old (atleast IMO). And combined with WWE's reliance on mic skills, I can't see him ever being the face of company. Also with the amount of mainstream exposure that would be on Ryback if he was pushed as the face of the company, it wouldn't seem to speak too highly of WWE's wellness policy in many people's eyes. The dude is jacked to the gills to almost an unreal level.

I'm sure the WWE thinks it will be Sheamus and Orton, but I can't imagine Randy going another 5 years without another wellness violation. Looking at the roster I'm not sure who I can see even still being around in 5 years much less 10 years.

It could be Sheamus, but due to his age, I don't see him getting a "super long run at the top" like Cena. I give him maybe 2-3 years tops at the top of the mountain.

Cody Rhodes has a shot. He's a really good wrestler and talker and has a clean cut look while still maintaining an edge. He's also young, years away from his prime.
Also, if Darren Young can get the right gimmick, look out. Not much on the mic but the right gimmick could remedy that.

We will never be free from Cena. Ever. He'll still be talking to the camera, saluting, and running to the ring long after we've entered a nuclear holocaust hellscape.

Honestly I'm not even sure Cena will still be with the company ten years from now considering how banged up he is at this point, at least not in an active role.

I'm not wishing any harm on the man, but I could honestly seeing Cena wrestling until he flat out dies in the ring. If WWE gets concerned about his well-being, he'd flee to TNA like Angle. I don't see any scenario where Cena will ever stop being the top guy until he's a gnarled wreck of shattered bones and twisted flesh. He's already been the top guy in WWE longer than Austin or Rock, and he's almost ready to eclipse Hogan's time (and Hogan had quite a bit of time off in later years before jumping to WCW).
On the plus side, kids a decade from now will be buying up the Official John Cena canes and body casts, rendered in every primary color.

Honestly I think they are grooming Seth Rollins for that spot and the Cena push. Be between him and Sheamus. Sheamus will be 39 in 5 years and 44 in 10. With his size and style, I wouldnt bet on him. HHH is 43 and has been basically done as a top guy for a few years now. Batista also similarly, is 43 and basically done. The big guys dont have the same shelf life and even if they do last, aren't faces of the company as they get older and take on the Kane/Big Show roles of occasional main event feud filler/enhancement talent. Its hard to guess who the face of the company will be. Guys like Cena, Punk, and Sheamus are all going to hit their 40s around the same time. Then you have guys like Bryan, Miz, and Dolph who will all be only a few years behind them. The current roster is all going to hit their 40s around the same 3-5 year window. Out of the guys currently in the E, I think Cody Rhodes is a possibility. He's only 27. I imagine the big time face of the company (meaning the hero) is not on the roster yet. Heck, Cody is probably the youngest guy (singles) on the roster right now with Zack Ryder and Im not willing to bet on either of them in the Cena position. On the low end (5 years), it'll still be Cena/Sheamus. On the high end, voted not on the roster. Cody Rhodes has a shot. He's a really good wrestler and talker and has a clean cut look while still maintaining an edge. He's also young, years away from his prime. Also, if Darren Young can get the right gimmick, look out. Not much on the mic but the right gimmick could remedy that. I agree with you on Cody, but Darren Young I can't. The right gimmick won't be enough. The Hogan/Cena/Austin/Rock position has to be able to talk. Young could develop, but that's a real longshot IMO, his similar features to Cena will matter as well.

Cody Rhodes more than likely. He's moving up, getting better, good look, he's young and talented, has a fanbase and he can be a good face when he turns. Watch Rollins vs Rhodes and hear the reactions to Cody. He's going to be a great face in the future.
If not him then honestly I wouldn't doubt it being Daniel Bryan if they pass the torch well. He has the potential it just depends what the WWE wants.
