Its just....off. Almost 2 years of Heel Cole have made me wary of Michael Cole smiling, or acting happy.
I mean, I saw how he was when Jerry went down, and I bet he's really happy that he recovered, and did it so quickly. Its just his happiness is so weird I'm expecting him to go there and turn heel by mocking Lawler and his mother again or something.
Pre heel turn Cole didn't give me this vibe when he was happy. Its amazing what a heel turn can do.

I thought for the most part Cole was on his game tonight. He had a couple stupid moments, but he left JR in the dust during the play by play.

Just shows how good of a heel Cole actually was.

At least this didn't happen during their 2010/2011 feud. That would've been extremely awkward television...especially if they didn't drop it.

His weird grin after the Bryan/Kane thing when he was stood by the announce table really cracked me up.

I like Happy Cole. It made me realize how much I actually liked him prior to (and now post) the Heel thing.

It was funny that they didn't have him say "May I have your attention please" before he spoke to stop the fans booing him.

He always comes off really insincere to me no matter what he's doing. It's weird. Like last week when he was talking about how happy he was that he would talk to Lawler via satellite it almost seemed sarcastic. And when telling everyone that Lawler had collapsed he seemed to be really overdoing the emotion (even though he obviously WAS legitimately worried) and it seemed no different to when he made the anal bleeding comment.

He's always come off as insincere to me; one of the main reasons I've never liked his announcing. The segment interviewing King he was awful.

Yeah, even if he does mean it, to me it's just coming across as fake. I don't know really, but I just feel like Cole is doing what he is told, it just doesn't feel sincere.

I would like to echo the insincerity comments. He's just a TV character. I don't know a thing about the real Michael Cole, I've come to realize.

I don't care how insincere he sounds, I don't want him ever to regress to that heel character again.
