I know tons of people have been asking this about the WWE recently but this one just popped into my mind a bit ago.
What was the point of Carlito vs. Foley at Taboo Tuesday?
First off no rematch to it and second Foley won...cleanly. At the very least if not another PPV match it should of had Carlito win on a Raw with major buildup since more people actually see that than the PPV.

I figured since Carlito would need the win more than anybody should've gone over, Foley's most recent run in WWE has been less than memorable. I forgot about the match till you mentioned it just now.

What was the point of Carlito vs. Foley at Taboo Tuesday? To try and pop the buy rate.

Because who cares if he won or not? More people wanted to see Foley win than anything.

Maybe Foley wrote another book that needed promoting.

Honestly Foley hadn't won a televised match in more than 3 years. There is one good reason. Carlito was pushed by the announcers and got the rub just for being in there against a legend. And it poped the buyrate up a bit. Next up Kiddies...Rocky Rocky Rocky!!!!!Dollars to dimes he is at mania in a match putting somebody over, movie star or no
