Sorry.. I gotta say it. Mr Perfect gets his due from me, he was damn good.. but..
Edge > Hennig.
I know most people (probably all) will disagree, but Curt didn't get the props that he gets now when he was alive. I didn't necessarily think he was anything great then, and still don't. I'm not saying he wasn't good... but he was a good mid-carder. I can see Edge moving to the next level sooner than later.

I believe Edge missed. You know why? He's not perfect.

As far as entertainment value and actually making me care about their character, Edge gets the nod.

Edge couldn't compare to Henning in any facets of the business.

Edge may take the gum slap, but he'll never take the towel throw.

Gotta love that that's the first reply to an Edge rant.

Edge will move to the next level, no one will care though... Edge just seems to be stuck in midcard hell and I know I could never really accept him as a main eventer... I mean why do you think his "money in the bank" hasn't been cashed in yet? Because nobody will buy a ticket to see Edge.

I don't know how to use the table and stuff but that is BS. Edge has been getting a lot of heat lately and I think he is ready for a mainevent Heel push. The whole Ric Flair thing was awesome. Heres to Edge, WWE Champion in 2006 ;D

It was said that it was going to be Cena vs Edge at Summerslam until Matt Hardy signed a contract with WWE again. Of course Vince is going to put the title feud on hold for the Matt/Edge feud. THEN, he got injured not long after he had the ladder match with Matt on Raw for the MITB title shot. Now that we're clear on that.. They also have shown that they are behind Edge by NOT throwing it away in some useless match on Raw, but instead saving it for when the time is right. If Edge wasn't going to be main eventing in the near future, WWE wouldn't be so adamant about keeping him on TV when he is injured, IE talk-show, Flair feud. You might not ever accept him as more than a mid-carder but people still say that about JBL, John Cena, etc.. and look how far that actually got them.

Pfft. If Edge wants to sell me, he needs to get rid of Lita as an on-screen role. All she does is massacre his already barely passable promo work (though the Ric Flair imitation vid was awesome) with her general presence.

I really think though that when Edge gets into a main event he'll just bomb out. His one on one matches aren't that great if he isn't carried by someone good and he doesn't draw any heat without having someone better then him to attack like Hardy or Flair. JBL, HHH or someone like that can at least get a crowd angery just by doing there bit and thats what Edge never had....

He's been my favorite wrestler since I was 10, so no one can say I never gave Hennig his fair due when he was alive. But I see your point. As of this moment in time, though: Hennig > Edge. That could change, though, if Edge would go a full year without an injury.

Curt Hennig was an awesome wrestler.
But I do have to agree that people always get a x5 modifier when talking about their ability, after they've died.

Just the fact that Hennig made the West Texas Rednecks entertaining puts him on a level above Edge.
