Is there a specific match, event, promo, whatever that everyone can agree pinpointed the end of the Attitude Era?

I'd say Austin hugging McMahon at WM 17.
Following that, you have the Invasion and the Brand-Split, which effectively transitioned the company into the "WWE NOW" era before the PG-Era began in 2007-2008

Yeah, generally, when the Invasion started, I mark that as the end of the Attitude Era.

The ending of WrestleMania X-7.

The ending of Wrestlemania X-7 feels about right, but it is interesting to note that the signature intro at the start of the show still closed with the words "Attitude Entertainment" until 2005, when the "Yes sir we promised you a great main event..." intro started being used.

Basically WM X-7, though I still think April/May/part of June felt like the 'old' WWF to me. It was once the Alliance became a 'thing' that it really felt like I was watching a whole other, lesser company.

I guess it was after X-7. Then there was HLA and Torrie/Dawn Marie/White boy challenge/Vince vs Stephanie/Brock beating up one legged boys etc like a year or two later that seemed something straight out of the Attitude Era....so.

I trace its beginnings with Bret Hart's promo on Raw in 1997 which foreshadowed his heel turn and ending with Austin hugging McMahon at WM 17 as the week before WCW folded, ECW ended 2 months earlier and Austin, the hero of the Attitude Era turned Heel.

It felt dead to me the night Vince gave the Ruthless Aggression promo. Austin and Rock were both becoming part timers, Foley was done for in the main event, Triple H was the main guy, Cena debuted off that promo, Benoit and Eddie finally got the big push. Everything that couldn't happen for good or bad started happening.

A lot of people say Mania 17, though I'm kind of partial to Mania 18. The whole show had kind of a WWF vs. WCW vibe, and it pretty much led into the Triple H dominance that followed up until Cena's rise.

I considered it over when they got rid of the opening Attitude signature.

I consider the end of X-7 to the brand split/name change to be a transition period where the Attitude Era still lingered but was being mixed with the new product.
