Why are they only upset with the Rough Ryder? Doesn't Kofi Kingston's finisher also get edited out on that show?

That's one reason there's a flaw with that show. Man, kids are treated so poorly. Kids aren't stupid. Let them see the Rough Ryder.

When I was a kid, no one had any issues with Jake Roberts dropping dudes neck first into the mat on saturday mornings. Or big fat guys squashing people so they were carried out on stretchers. What's with this pussy generation? (and I don't mean the kids; I mean the spineless/clueless adults who make these micromanaged decisions?). Here are some of the things that flew in Saturday morning wrestling (PG rated) 25 years ago: -Ricky Steamboat swallows his tongue after Savage crushed his throat with a ringbell. -Rick Rude gets his tights ripped off by Jake Roberts. -Brutus Beefcake gets his head bloodied by Ron Bass's spurs. (and even when they edited it, you could see the blood). -Sika eats a live chicken. -Hogan gets beaten to a pulp with a police man's billy club by Big Boss Man. -It's implied that the Islanders abused Mathilda the bulldog after stealing her. And this is not even getting into 1991 things like people being locked in caskets, Bret Hart being electrocuted by The Mountie, and Randy Savage's arm getting gnawed on by Jake's King Cobra. Society needs to get their heads out of their asses. These same people making these calls are the same one's who grew up with this stuff. To be fair, those shows didnt always air in kid friendly time slots (when i first got into wrestling, the syndie shows aired at 11:30 pm on saturdays) but i do agree that the execs are too nervous about neck shots (especially since the other shows on the network have neck shots as well). Its getting to the point where they wont show the impact of any move during recap/history segments (they cut away a split second before the move itself hits).

Knowing the demographic, they probably just had Miz do the 'ol "roll-up while holding the opponent's tights" bit.

Wait, they let a heel (miz) win on SMS? The episodes ive seen (granted, ive only seen 2 episodes) had faces going over decisively.

Why don't they completely just eliminate wrestling from the show all together? Seriously, this is crap. Do they honestly think kids these days are going to be affected by seeing that? Aren't we figuring the same kids who watch this show probably watch Raw? If they don't, and this show got them into wrestling, can't we figure they'll watch Raw?
Not to mention, all these kids with smart phones and Internet connections can just search YouTube for legit street fights faster than they can change a channel.

Saturday Morning Slam can get slapped with a lawsuit quicker if a kid gets severely injured or dies because of lack of responsible adults supervising because unlike Raw/SD/NXT, SMS is deliberately catering to children's demographics. Because despite all the warnings, it's always WWE's fault.

Not if he's facing Regal. Creative Team Member: "Is there a way we can have both Ryder and Regal lose AND have Hornswoggle win, even though he is not involved in the match?"

This should be no problem for WWE. They have a backup plan that they've been practicing on RAW for a long time.
Ryder matches will end with Ryder being pinned.

Why would the CW be upset with the Rough Ryder when it was edited out of the show before it was even broadcast? And the news site was wrong that they cut to the crowd when it happened, they cut to the announcers reacting to it, not the crowd, but they do that during every match when there is a move that is anywhere close to the head.
I'm fine with the no headshot rule, it means that guys have to do something different than their usual routine. It means they have to use a more old school style, but it is a catch 22 because kids want to see the big impact moves that they can't really do.

Aside from Miz, are there any "kid friendly heels" that Ryder can job to? And why is Ryder even on this show? How exactly is a Long Island Broski who likes to go clubbing and drink beer kid friendly?

Just have him kick people in the dick for a finisher. If CW complain it's offensive, they can just say "It's not targeting the head!"

Tiger Bomb? That doesn't specifically target the head/neck region. And Ryder's Tiger Bomb is a thing of beauty.

In fact, Ryder's entire moveset hits the neck/head. - Rough Ryder - Broski Boot - Double Knees from the corner - Call Me Legdrop - Flying Forearms - Facebuster - Dropkick - Neckbreaker - Frankensteiner - Tiger Bomb - Zack Attack The only move he can use is probably the plancha.
