Why isn't there a reality show following Vince 24/7? This is a man that one week thinks a fat dancing guy will take the wrestling world by storm, but then snaps out of his steroid induced dementia just long enough to realize there is no future for the gimmick beyond the midcard, only to once again succumb to the madness and think Brodus can get over as a generic monster in a company that has no idea what to do with the 3 or 4 guys already using that gimmick. And who would have thought wrestling fans wouldn't want to see Vince's petty criticisms of politics played out by a guy that can't handle even moderately hostile crowds and Mr. "Yeah, it's time for my monthly heel turn and title shot". is it me opr does it seem like everyone on the Internet assumes every action must be to create the next big thing. Why do so many hate the concept of average.

Brodus Clay has found his niche with the Funkasaurus gimmick: his look was always too cartoonish to make him a credible heel and the funk persona has mass appeal. Sell some novelty swag and he can be a major money maker.

I'm SHOCKED, absolutely SHOCKED that the debate fell flat on its face. Are you disrespecting the mic skills of the Greatest World Heavyweight Champion of All Time?

Yeah, they ruined it by turning him heel, but he would've wound up being another guy anyway.

By "change the Funkasaurus' gimmick," I think they mean adding the running man to his dance routine.

"So what's the plan with Big Brodus this week?" "Uh...he dances and squashes a lower midcarder." "You've done that for four months." "I don't think so..." "I'm not that senile. Now punish him for that DUI." "That was one of the dancers." *Vince looks around* "Where?"

Not so much.

I don't know how you got that from my post, but that isn't at all what I'm saying. The dancing gimmick, stupid or not, gets the crowd to react favorably to Brodus and at least gives the kids something memorable. How does Brodus benefit from being generic monster #50 in a time where people couldn't care less about a guy like Tensai and where Ryback is still struggling to keep the fans interested despite being pushed like crazy?
And hey, who wouldn't be sick of average in a time where the midcard is as disposable as ever? If they want to turn Brodus and have him squash Ryder and Santino week in and week out to utter apathy, more power to them I suppose.

I missed the debate, was it really that bad? it depends how much you enjoy Sheamus and his oh so colorful "Mexican humor" "how many Mexicans does it take to change a light bulb? Dos. Hahahahaha"

It's their fault Tensai didn't get over, because it's a stupid gimmick. They should have just brought him back as A-Train and claimed that he returned to WWE after demolishing every wrestler in Japan. And for god's sake, let him work at his normal pace.

Going into RAW, they wanted to put some focus on Show vs. Sheamus but had no idea things would fall apart the way they did. Like Big Show's podium.

I could see them ditching the funkasaurus only because it seems like the crowd itself has soured on it quite a bit.
There have been quite a few occasions now where the crowd almost seems disappointed when his music hits.

YEAH! The Hip Hop Hipposaurus
and Lord Clay
Sakamoto is learning to dance, and Albert is calling his MOMMA!
Also after he loses Lord Clay yells at Cameron and Naomi and smacks them.

Simple way to fix Sheamus. Don't have him talk like a smart ass, and have him act like a bad ass.

I really don't see why the gimmick has to go for Brodus to move higher up the card. All they need to do is do away with the post-match dancing celebration with kids and cut down his entrance. Push him up the card as a threat and he'll be taken seriously.

I really like Clay's gimmick. Booking him as generic monster heel number 5,000 (and probably building him to lose to Cena or Sheamus) is a bad idea. He could be a solid mid-card face. He really should've had a longer feud with Cesaro, and a PPV match with Big show.

I have no interest in obese wrestlers when vanilla midget wrestling MACHINES like tyson kidd are on the roster.
