I really enjoyed the show last night, sans a few bad moments and I wanted to see at least one thread based entirely on positive comments. So if you want to complain about anything please do it in another thread.
It wasn't a perfect show by any means with Hardy ending Aries fledgling title reign, the end of #WTTCOTW and Devon being the big reveal but overall last night was a thoroughly enjoyable show.
Storm vs. Roode had that blood-feud ending brutality that it really needed and they delivered what in my opinion was match of the night. The three-way tag match took a while to get started, but when it did it was an amazing match. And even though I didn't enjoy seeing Jeff win the belt, I thought he and Aries had a very good main event calibre match. Maybe it didn't quite live up to ROH's main event the day before but I think it still delivered well enough. Also Joey Ryan is now officially a part of the Impact Wrestling roster.
So what did you guys enjoy about Bound For Glory?

They need to be on the road for every show possible, tonight's show made it look big league for a change.

I thought it was an incredible PPV. Storm/Roode is my MOTY right now.
Only matches I didn't like were Ryan/Snow (weird ass booking) and the Knockouts match.

They need to be on the road for every show possible, tonight's show made it look big league for a change. I didn't like the atmosphere as much, at least for the people in front on hard camera. That area was a lot less dense there, with assigned seating, and everyone was sitting down rather than standing up and being active all the time. Umm as far as positives... Zema Ion sure is great. I mean he didn't win his match. Nor did Christopher Daniels, also great. I really like Chavo. I really like Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. I really like Samoa Joe. I really like Jeff Hardy even if I didn't want him to win. I really like Austin Aries.

I enjoyed a lot about the show.
RVD looked motivated for the first time in AGES. I suppose it was the big crowd, awesome atmosphere, and how ridiculously over he was.
Joe and Magnus work real well together. Liked that match a lot.
Roode/Storm was awesome. It's up there with Roode/Aries from Destination X and Angle-AJ/WTTCOTW from Slammiversary as my favorite TNA match this year. Id probably put it on top though, just because of the perfect ending with the beer bottle and superkick. Good storytelling there. Also, One little thing that I really loved was King Mo's reactions to the match as it went on. It wasnt anything major, but it really helped sell the brutality of the match.
I've been a Joey Ryan fan for a while, and Ive never really considered him a great promo guy, but I thought his promo last night was really good.
I dont really mind Chavo/Hernandez. I mean, theyre not even in the same league as AJ/Angle or Daniels/Kaz, but theyre not AWFUL, so I wasnt as bummed/angry/annoyed with the result as the majority. The match itself was pretty crazy, AJ's double springboard and Kaz almost killing himself in particular.
Theres a lot of things floating around in my head about the Devon reveal, but since this is a positive thread, I'll give you the positive ones! First, in an age where there are VERY few genuine surprises, that was a legitimate genuine surprise. Didnt expect that at all. I dont know how long its been planned, but the contract stuff, Devon teasing a WWE return, the TV title being vacated, etc... if that was all part of it, then bravo. Plus, Devon (like Bully) is much better as a mean bastard heel, and I always thought he was an underrated promo guy, so im actually kind of excited to see him cut a few promos. Also, the crowd for this match was awesome, especially around the GET THE TABLES part. So hot.
Speaking of awesome crowd reaction, I loved the main event. I was rooting for Aries pretty hard, but I really cant be disappointed after that match. Much better than I expected (I wasnt sure their styles would mesh, I was wrong). Seriously though, the crowd for that main event was as hot as a big time Cena match. Also, Aries being back to his dickish self is SO nice to see after a few months of him being "pissed off bland babyface version 86753"
There were obviously negatives too, but the positives almost drown those out for me. Really liked the show, its up there with Slammiversary for me as my 2nd fav TNA ppv of the year behind Destination X.

The show was actually really good.
RVD winning the belt, like, I'm hoping he doesn't keep it till Destination X. TNA dropped the ball with pushing Zema Ion, and Kenny King's new "invisible man" gimmick isn't really working out.
Joe and Magnus was awesome. The Joenus Brothers EXPLODE
Storm and Roode was an epic match.
Ryan and Snow kinda calmed the crowd down, but good to see Morgan look motivated and team with Joey Ryan.
My hope with Daniels not having the belt is he could face Jeff Hardy. Daniels needs to be in a main event feud. Kazarian as well, after Daniels loses (if he loses) then Hardy faces Kazarian, as they proved themselves as main event talent. Or maybe face the X-Division Champion RVD. As for Chavo, he's doing it for Eddie, I guess that's his gimmick. Chavo sucks.
Tara going over was for the best, she can wrestle a lot better, though Tessmacher wasn't too bad tonight. The reveal was kind of expected, hopefully he got decent in OVW.
The Devon reveal. Devon is a good promo guy in a leader role, and it was a real shock to me, that actually made sense, which is a pleasant change in TNA. I'm one of the people on the board who felt that Devon was actually someone valuable in TNA and thought it was bad that they were letting him go.
And with the World Title, I wanted them to keep it on Aries, but the plus side of this is: The BFG series means something, Hardy is a babyface who has a fresh array of heels (Aries, Daniels, Kazarian, Roode, Aces & 8s). But then again, if Aries was heel, he would have Bully Ray, James Storm, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle. A question one should ask from the pay per view though, is everyone in a better position then they were last year. I feel the answer is yes.

I really, really enjoyed this show overall.
I think the Devon reveal is brilliant. And people are only upset because they got worked and didn't see it coming. To that I say to TNA, "Well played."

Biggest positive of the night: very high match quality for the majority of the card. Even if people dislike certain booking choices or what have you, TNA has really become reliable for putting on excellent matches on their PPV's this past year, so you at least know you're getting that.
Uncertain positive about last night: RVD with the X-Division title. Does this force them to start taking the division more seriously? I recognize that it's tough when you really want to put most of your focus on your World Title and you only have 90 minutes of show a week, but they do need to freshen things up. RVD with the X-title and Joe with the TV Title could be their way of at least trying to force more attention on those belts.
