What's a good smart phone to buy? How are the droids and the iphones? Is one better then other? I was thinking about getting a smart phone, so I figured I would with people who have them to see if they're worth getting them.

Iphone: +Very reliable +Easy to use and maintainability +Apple has by far the best best customer service and warranty +Siri is fun and better than any droid voice command service like S-Voice -Pricey -Not as powerful/fast as most android devices -You have to pay for some apps in which you can get free at the android play store -Can't really customize/mod them
Androids: +Cheaper +Faster more powerful +Better web browsing experience (flash and s***) +Bigger screens and brighter displays +More free apps -Usually has way more maintenance problems -Warranty depends on your service provider
Blackberry: +It has a keyboard if you like keyboards? -EVERYTHING! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GET ONE!!!!!!!
Edit: For good androids, HTC One is good, Samsung Galaxy S2 (can be glitchy and auto sync may turn on automatically once in a while), Galaxy Nexus (great phone, usually comes unlocked from the start, not as fast as S2 or S3 and only has a 5.0 megapixel camera not 8.0) S3 (LTE speeds, can text while watching videos, has a feature where the screen doesn't shut off if you look at it, best camera, overall the best android phone on the market.

Have an iPhone 4 and love it. Hell, I've had every version of the iPhone except the 4s and love them. I like them over Android because there is no carrier installed nonsense, no overlays (HTC, Samsung and Motorola all put skins and different versions Android on things) and what worked on my first iPhone still works on my 4. Plus when Apple updates the iPhone software, as long as they are still supporting that model, it upgrades when I want it to, not when ATT or the maker wants it to.
I am thinking of trying another Android but really don't want to give up what I've got on my iPhone right now. With Android, if you buy something out of the Google store (Play I think it's called) it will go to any Android phone that the app supports so you are not locked down to one model should your phone die. On the flipside, not every phone supports every app last I used it.
You can probably get an Android phone cheaper than iPhones but quality is an issue. I think you can get iPhone 3s for around $100 though and would imagine that the 4 will drop that low when the next iPhone comes out later this year.
The other thing is Androids seem to have shitty battery lives because they are constantly on (if you want the best features) but you can get a second battery to help with that. iPhone's don't have amazing batteries but I can spend hours on mine at a time and have it last 8 to 9 hours while the one Android I had I barely touched and it would die after 4 hours. There are things you can do and apps you can get to help with that on Android but I am not a fan of that stuff.
