It looks like you can say goodbye to Ryan, too: www.avclub.com/articles/bj-novak-is-also-leaving-the-office-basically,81878/ In summary: - Mindy Kaling (Kelly) and Paul Lieberstein (Toby) are gone already - The proposed spinoff for Rainn Wilson (Dwight) would happen next year, so this is likely the final year for his character on the show - Fewer episodes this season for Ed Helms (Andy) and John Krasinski (Jim) - Catherine Tate (Nellie) is now a regular Seriously, put a bullet in this show already.

They need to put this thing down already.

Let it die. It's over. The show isn't funny anymore. They're going to tarnish the show's legacy.

NO DOCUMENTARY IN THE WORLD NEEDS 8 YEARS OF FOOTAGE.
That being said, if they set up shop in a new office or a warehouse, I'd give it a shot. coughsNEWWRITERScoughs

Yeah, the last season had some ok moments, but it's been going downhill for a long time. I thought they'd save it after the new boss episodes, but it never got there.

I'm actually still enjoying the show for the most part, the only new character I don't really care for is Nelly. I can't imagine she'll remain a regular part of the cast though...right? Please?

Theyre going to reveal that the office is really limbo/purgatory right? Worked for {Spoiler}Lost (or whatever that ending was supposed to be) Still, it cant go on forever, the actors ARE going to eventually get older and older (unless theyre going to make this like SNL with a constantly changing cast, and that wouldnt exactly work for a sitcom)

^ That's not in spoiler tags and that wasn't how that show ended anyway.

Show has been relatively un-watchable for about over 3 years now. Just give it a 13 episode renewal to close out the show and a proper finale.

Toby's age started showing relatively quickly... so I can see him no longer being a part of the cast. But Nelly? WHY?~! I will always have the first 6 seasons

Maybe it's some sort of meta thing going on, and by constantly running the show even though it gets less humorous every season, it's really a commentary on the lives of the characters who will be stuck at a dead end job, in a dead end city until they die, and is a device to show their unhappiness with their pointless lives.

At least Ricky Gervais had the good sense to pull the plug before it got stale.

I like Dwight and all, but I would give the spin off to Creed

So, basically, we're looking at...
Stanley Erin Creed Meredith Oscar Kevin Nellie Gabe? Pam? (Why would we have Pam but no Jim?) Darryl Val
Sounds like a winner.
Seriously, with Michael already gone and Jim and Dwight leaving, it's just not the same show. Don't try and pass it off on us as the same show.

I like Dwight and all, but I would give the spin off to Creed or to Stanley and Erin, they can do a kinda "Odd Couple" thing. they get transferred to Florida and as Stanley tries to be "Florida Stanley" he and Erin have "hilarious hijinks"! Creed can be a reoccurring guests star..

Throw in Gabe (who was far and away the MVP of last year) and you got yourself a fresh, funny show.

Just bring everyone back for the Michael Scott wedding, allow that to be the proper send-off and have that be the end of it.
Seriously, I cannot recall a show sullying its legacy so suddenly and so immediately. The show is unrecognizable compared to the first four seasons.
