When did these start popping up everywhere? It's like you can't drive past a shopping center without seeing one.
Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of things I like about going to a restaurant and seeing someone make your food in front of you. I'm kind of a stickler for food safety, so the only place I'll eat seafood is a place like that. I even have a go-to place here in Cincy. But dang, they're everywhere. Maybe they're taking off on the popularity of sushi nowadays, I don't know.

I just got a flyer in the mail the other day for one that just opened around here. I glanced at the menu and it looked ok but I dont have a sudden urge to go anytime soon.

Are you talking about a Hibachi Grill? A little expensive but those things freaking rock and the sake is a pants dropper...When shes hot and not just a POF hit and run I take em to these places...Everyone loves a show, the foods great, and the drinks work

Hibachi's are awesome. There's one about 45 minutes away from me, maybe $24 for fried rice with steak and chicken or filet. The servings are huge, so you get your moneys worth.

Where I live (in MD/DC), we have these Peruvian charbroiled chicken restaurants appearing on every corner.
Also, in upstate NY (where I used to live), we have those Chinese buffets that my dad likes.

Japanese steakhouses are pretty good. Love going to them whenever I can. I prefer Brazilian steakhouses though. Man those are great.
...This thread makes me feel hungry.
