Post Credits Scene for The Amazing Spider-Man?

Seems the very first review for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man movie has spoiled the post-credit scene.

The gang over at CBM found the movie review via a Dutch website.

Not sure how it got green lit by Sony, but the review apparently gives us the post-credit scene or at least an inkling of it.

When Irrfan Khan was cast in the Amazing Spider-Man, speculation immediately came about that he was to play a villain.

It was stated to be the Proto-Goblin.

But then Irrfan Khan came out and said that nope — he isn't playing a bad guy, not the Proto-Goblin.

At least in the first movie.

The aforementioned movie review states that the post-credit scene in the Amazing Spider-Man shows Irrfan Khan's dark side (translated).

While nothing specific, the website goes on to speculate that Irrfan Khan may actually be the Green Goblin in the Amazing Spider-Man sequel.

So really no specific spoilers, but we know the scene involved Irrfan Khan turning evil, or something.

I'm going to go one step further and speculate that Irrfan Khan might be playing the Hobgoblin (as we already got Gobby in the previous Spidey films).

Because I just don't think the Proto-Goblin is "big" enough.

Regardless, I'm also hoping there is more to the post-credit scene than stated in the Amazing Spider-Man.

A cunning but obnoxious Hobgoblin (like the one in the 90s animated series) could make for a fun villain, though the comparisons to Osbourne are going to be there.

Seriously. I was actually hoping that we'd get Kraven and the Lizard in the same movie, considering how much sense it makes.

Proto-Goblin isn't remotely a big enough villain, it would be weird (for me) having a Hobgoblin who isn't one of the actual Hobgoblins and I a Green Goblin who isn't Norman is ridiculous and never works.

Definitely looking less forward to this now, because I know I'll leave the theatre moaning about it

They should just go with Green Goblin. There are other ways to play him than whatever the hell he was supposed to be in the first one, plus with Gwen Stacy on hand the will he / won't he kill her thing could make for a good selling point for a sequel.

What's wrong with Venom? I mean yes, I suppose you'd have to do the whole Black Suit thing first, but if, as has been hinted, that this incarnation of Spidey is a product of genetic experimentation, it's not too much of a leap to retcon Venom's origin to be something to do with that. I'm sick of Goblins to be honest.

1. We've seen Venom
2. We've seen Venom done TERRIBLY.

Spidey's got one of the biggest rogues' gallery of them all, I could do without goblins OR Venom for a couple movies.

I wish after all these years they'd have an Spider Man film open with him fighting one of his joke villains in the start of the film as an opening act much like James Bond does.

Maybe they'll go the Nolan route in regards to villians.

Villian who hasn't gotten the spotlight yet for the first movie (Lizard)
Spideys main nemesis for the second movie (Green Goblin)
Villian who was completely wasted to be redeemed for the third movie (Venom)
