I think that is a really strong analysis of the game, Queen Mab. Brad, Jono, and I's greatest strength was working off of each other. Take any one of us away, and we would've been a lot more obviously mafia. That's why I think this game was a lot closer than it looks. I had no clue you were closing in on me, but the dominoes were going to start to fall into place regardless. If it came down to determining between Lodi/Double H/me, I knew I was practically screwed. The thing that really killed town is, like you said, second guessing and not committing when they came up with something. Nearly everyone's list had Jono, and most had Brad with him as well. If one of them went down, I was going to need to step up my play, which would've made me more obvious as well. So it was a strong game for town, but they just didn't follow through with their thoughts. And by then, we (mafia) were able to steer away the vote from our scum buddies. My real "what if" scenario is if town had followed through and lynched either Brad or Jono instead of B Natural. If that happens, - I need to step up my game and become more vocal.
- Mafia is down a key member.
- You guys still have your town doctor.
If that was the case, I really believe town may have won this in the end.

Night actions:
Night 1
Evil M investigates Kami Mr B protects Queen Mab Street roleblocks Lodi Kami kills Evil M
Night 2 Street kills Mason Street roleblocks Produceman
Day 3 Produceman places hidden vote on Kami
BTW amazing write up, Zack! This was a fun game. I liked how the mafia were communicating, and was surprised on how the town all had the same idea on who was mafia, but didn't strike.
Losing the doctor and detective right off the bat really hurt as well.

I say this above all else we really got lucky if we didn't kill off Evil M then his investigation would of went through he would of known for a fact I was mafia and he would of pushed hard to get me lynched. I think the town played a good game I liked that there was a lynch each day phase not just saying this because I was mafia but because it was nice to see everybody band together even though no mafia got lynched it was good to see all the lynches happen. I thought for sure I would be lynched we just lucked out in the end. Again good game all.

Because early on, I was the only one who suspected you. And right after I got my results and found out I was right, I knew I was dead. It was a good game, though. Congrats mafia on a job well done.

Fun tidbit: we had two day extensions, and right after announcing both of those extensions, we had a quick lynch.

Yeah, I really shot myself in the foot with that hammer vote on Day 1. If I had just gone with my instincts and held back we might have fared better in the end.
Ah well, another game, another lesson learned. I'll be sure to apply it the next time around.
And of course it was fun as always.

I'm sad that Mr. G protected me and I put a vote to lynch him. Sorry Slater! Sorry Kelly! --------------------------------- I hoped you guys looked at my analysis on the previous page here along with some tips, because I wrote alot. Though people might be taking it to heart for the True Blood Game going on, so that's cool if so. As you can see, even though I know quite a bit about this game, I'm not always right. I even said in game that I won't be correct all the time. People should always try to figure things out for themselves as well instead of simply depending on someone. I'm willing to listen to any case somebody puts up, just as you folk have the option to decide for yourselves if you agree with mine. Tell me your thoughts on what I wrote on this game (first I played in a long while) and whatever while this is still up. It's always nice to talk about stuff in the aftermath instead of going directly to the next game discussion. =P -------------------------------- Also one last thing I forgot to add: The Pregame for SBTB was FUN! We had a good time.

I missed the goofiness! I felt like I was a teacher that had stepped out into the hall during class, totally missing the fun.
About the game, I was on the fence about using a town role blocker, and decided to use the double voter instead. Looking back, everyone in game was looking for a town role blocker -- so maybe I should use one from now on.
I had fun doing the write ups, and wish I could have added more storywise, but I also wanted the game to move smoothly and didn't want to introduce time lag because of me, the host.
Very early on, the mafia was going to be the loves of Zack Morris ganging up to take him down, but I thought that might be too easy to figure out. I didn't know how often people would post in character, so I didn't want to give that away. Second idea was to use Screech and his jealousy, so I grabbed his girl and his best friend post SBTB.
The double voter role almost came to work well in the last day phase, as that meant there was 2 votes on Kami already, and he just needed 2 more.

I'm glad you used a double voter. It was something different so we don't come to expect the same everytime. Keeps everyone on their toes.
Also, like I said earlier, I considered the girlfriends (Tori, Kelly, Stacy) as the mafia, but then if I had a little more time to think about it, after suggesting Violet killed Nerdstrom, maybe I would've unvoted and went with the nerds instead. Mafia quick-lynching this game with their speedy activity really helped them I think. Didn't allow us to get a word in on day #1 & #3, which could have helped change things.

Yeah, the quick lynch votes did it. I still think it's funny that as soon as I said the word extension, town got to voting quick style, haha.
And I did feel the tide turning during Day 3 right before the final lynch.
