I was thinking how much of a pop Bryan would get if he won the Rumble, now I really want it to happen. I think they might as well strike while the iron is hot. He could have a great match at Mania with Punk, Rock, Cena, Ziggler, Sheamus (if given time and actually put on the show this time) among others, all I feel are Mania worthy matches. Maybe this year is when they start taking the Rumble seriously again (or maybe not), and having someone like Bryan winning it may just be the way to do it. So is it: Or:

Not unless they flip he and Sheamus and go for Round 3. I think he and Kane are destined for the celebrity match at Mania.

It's possible and I'd certainly love it but I think Cena's got this one - if only to set up Cena/Rock II but who knows.

I think it's far more likely he does his whole entrance schtick with the crowd interaction and ripping up signs and then gets eliminated immediately. It's basically his gimmick now, to get embarrassed in the biggest segments despite high expectations.

What about Bryan vs. Ziggler for the WHC? Could be a great match, and maybe he could bring back the YES chant after winning.

Kane and Bryan being early entrants is basically rumble booking 101, there's a ton of storyline possibilities (uneasy alliance, turning on each other, Kane doing all the work and Bryan taking the glory etc) and between them they could carry most of the match.

Doubt it. WWE loves to feature him, but I don't think WWE wants to position him in the spot of Rumble winner. I think there's a limit to how far they'd like to go with Bryan. He's a notch (maybe many notches) below guys like Sheamus and Ryback in terms of guys WWE genuinely wants to protect and promote.
Maybe it will be Wade Barrett. I'd prefer Bryan, but I simply can't see WWE doing that.

Yes, and at WM he beats Sheamus in 17 seconds.

Do I want it to happen? YES!
Do I think it'll happen? Not too sure. Then again, I'm sure this time a few years ago, nobody saw Rey Mysterio or Del Rio winning, so anything's possible.

I think Ryback will win it.

Bryan vs Sheamus with Bryan as face and sheamus as heel at mania could be a money match now.
Doesn't need to be for a belt but it could be.
Unfortunately while I think they'd be willing to turn Bryan full on face soon (he's booked largely like a face already) I don't think they'd be willing to turn Sheamus heel already.

YES! YES! YES!
but only if he turns face and his match is with Ziggler. if WWE plays their cards right these 2 can be the next Michaels/Angle pairing.

I'd like to see it. But I dont think they'll do it at the 2013 Rumble.

Depends on where Team "Hell No!" is by January. If it's still a thing with no sign of splitting up, then no. But if Bryan is away from Kane by that time then he's got a good shot. He's one of the most over guys on the show (and unlike Orton, Rey, etc. he hasn't hit his personal ceiling yet) and is in prime position for a big push, so why not?

Because he's not the guy they want to push. He keeps stepping on a bag of dog shit set up by the WWE and comes out of it better every time. Someone pointed it already, but he'll probably be the "worker guy" in the match and be nowhere near the finish.

If not Bryan than who? Ziggler has money in the bank. Punk (who should win it) is the champ and looks like he be until Royal Rumble. Sheamus should not win it again. Cena does not need it besides he will be in the WM main event if he does not the Rumble.
Over the last year the WWE only build up two people. Bryan and Punk are the only two that can win it next year.

I don't want the winner of the Royal Rumble to focus their attention on the WHC. That essentially means they'll be opening up WrestleMania. It devalues the Royal Rumble when that happens. If they want to work Daniel Bryan back into the WWE championship, that would be fine. But for right now I am hoping very much so that either CM Punk, John Cena, or the Rock wins the Rumble match just for the sake of the event.

I think Bryan has a fair chance of being a winner just because they're running low on fresh "Rumble winner capable" talent at the moment. It would be a good moment and yet Bryan is established enough that it wouldn't come off awkward at all in my opinion.
It's just really a matter of what their plans are and if they want to do it. As for him being worthy of being on a list of possible winners, he is.

I think he could have a shot at winning the rumble and challenging the WHC if there's a heel holding it at the time.
I don't think they're looking warily at Bryan and not really willing to push him very far. Right now he's one of the two people they decided to throw into the tag team division to make people care about it again. And that's a lot of weight to put on someone. Right now, both titles are tied up in other things; Sheamus killing time while they give Ziggler a sort-of push, and of course the whole Punk/Rock/Cena thing. If Ziggler has the belt by Mania, him vs. Bryan would be f***ing incredible and they know it.
