Coupling it with this ad
and I am definitely man crushing on him.
And again, if you aren't all reading (or, being that it ended yesterday, had been reading) Gillen's run on Journey into Mystery, you suck, I hate you and will continue to hate you until you do so.
So go and do so now!
And then come back in January and pick up Young Avengers!

He comes across as such a class act with a lot of personality, never mind the fact that he is a brilliant actor. I really need to see more of his work.

If you have read the rest, then there is some bonus things to notice, but really, all you NEED is what you've already read and the .1 that starts it all. And knowing the end of Siege, but the .1 covers that as well really.

I have been a fan since the first issue. Best recap pages in the business, and Journey into Stationary is the best letters page in comics as well. I cannot wait for Gillen and Kid Loki to return in Young Avengers, and I hope we see Leah again. Gillen is a a delightfully insane beast.

Hiddleston is a sweetie. As for JiM, gorgeous series, so glad I read it. {Spoiler}Definitely not coming back for YA, though. Not after that ending! *shudders*

Anybody who'd let a friggin' giant like Chris Hemsworth punch him in the face for real just for one quick scene is definitely worthy of the title "awesome."

Not after that ending! *shudders* I dont think it's as glum as everyone thinks. It's all about perception. There was never two people there, and what is left, while different, isnt old either.

I don't agree with that interpretation (although I wholeheartedly subscribed to it prior to reading the final issue), but I will happily catch up on YA in retrospect if that turns out to be the case. Right now, though, interpreting it as I do, I feel ill when I look at him. So it wouldn't be pleasant for me to try to read any more.

The fact a writer could get that strong of an emotional response from me is why I would want to read more.

I think it was a brilliant way to cap off JiM. But not all strong emotional responses make me want to read more. Sometimes, they just make me satisfied with the story as it is. There's nothing of interest for me in reading about this character now... I don't even want to see his comeuppance, I just want to be away from him. And I absolutely agree that that's a credit to Gillen, who wrote a truly marvelous story.

But seeing as It's not relevent I can ignore it (YAY)
