Although he was attached Direct 'Days of Future Past", it looks like he will no longer be Directing. Bryan Singer is still involved in the project, so according to rumours, he's the one they now want. www.deadline.com/2012/10/matthew-vaughn-wont-direct-x-men-first-class-2-will-bryan-singer-replace-him/As much as I like Bryan Singer, as a huge Vaughan fan, I'd be really disappointed if these stories are true. I thought First Class was one of the best films of last year and was really looking forward to the Sequel. (I couldn't find the existing thread for this film, so I started a new one. If anyone can find it, feel free to link it so I can merge this one into it).

Ehhhhh, yeah, disappointed, but I think Singer did a good job with 1 and 2, and even with Superman Returns.
He's clearly a massive comic geek, and so I still have faith

Aww damn just when I was feeling great bout the next X-men movie..they go and rattle my solid foundation.
I loved X2 but superman returns knocked him down a good 100 pegs or so.

If Singer is back, my interest drops to not watching.

If Singer is back, my interest drops to not watching. Agreed. He kills everything he touches. He is undeserving of his career.
