- We had previously reported here on the site, that within the last few months, Christian was at a high state of frustration with his push, especially after the move to SmackDown. Many feel that Christian did exactly what WWE management asks of it's talent, and that is to get themseleves over with the fans, rather then waiting for the creative team or Vince McMahon to give them the ball. Even though Christian did this, it almost worked against him since he got over without it being a part of the creative team's plans for his character, and thus the push was stoped seeing how creative couldn't take the credit for the push, nor could they find a way to deal with the explosion in his popularity with the fans.

I only ask this cause WWe's known for some of their hottest prospects taking off after the guy's get themselves over. And seeing as how we're talking about the post attitude era, you could make the argument that different people were in charge, and Vince wasn't as nuts back then, there is argument for that but John Cena is a perfect example who the bookers had no idea what to do with, had a completely bland gimmick and then given a completely lame gimmick would spell certain doom for almost anybody else and he got himself over before the wwe machine diluted him.
I'll be honest with ya, I hated the original incarnation of the Dr. of Thuganomics character when he first started just because I'm not a big fan of hip hop and I did think he was a "whigger" as some of the people here call him. But the guy won me over, and as time went on I could tell where he was going with him thing and it took me a while to figure out he was just being silly and the whole character was supposed be a joke at first. He won me over once Brock took him out (which I marked hard for) and just did backstage promos on Brock for like 2 months.
