If I were TNA I would try hard to get him. He should only be a booker, however. I think a good thing for TNA would be a system of check and balance between him and the current head booker (sorry, I don't know how to spell his name, so I won't try and risk butchering it).

I really doubt being ROH Commish is taking that much of his time up... He's not booking or anything is he... Just on the pay roll "Playing" commish?

Yeah, Corny is just playing Commish in ROH. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he had a minor backstage role, the book is still firmly in Gabe's hands. Also: If I were TNA I would try hard to get him. He should only be a booker, however. Scott D'Amore. Personally, I think TNA should wait out Paul Heyman's contract, and see if he's interested with working with a company that Spike is actually spending money advertising this time around. However, if that didn't work out, they should at least consider Cornette. The man may be old school, but he's one of the smarter guys out there when it comes to the ins and outs of the business. Of course, they might have their own in-house answer a few years down the line: Raven.
