It all makes sense now. It's why they gave the title to Show and not Ziggler, it's why advertisements for Survivor Series focused on Ryback/Big Show.
Ryback is over and they can't have him ruin their Punk/Rock plans, so they're giving him Big Gold.

It's better than Sheamus, but screw that. He should have beaten Punk.
I'm figuring Sheamus will just win it back and this is just to give him something to do for a couple of months until they're ready to pull the trigger on a Ziggler feud.

I miss the Brand Split. Where people couldn't just lose a title match and go for another. Same here. But it's hard or me to believe that Ryback would win the WHC so soon. They just officially moved Ryback over to the RAW brand. Even though the brand split is pretty much over, why would they bother doing so if he was just going to go after the SD belt? Sure Ziggler has the SD MiTB despite being a RAW guy, but he's probably going to be moved over once he wins the belt as wel. Even though wrestlers can challenge for either belt, I honestly don't think the major titles are ever going to actually switch hands to a guy on the opposite brand. |

I still think it's too soon on Ryback but as the World champ at least he wouldn't be expected to carry the whole company. |
