So I'm going to Survivor Series in a few weeks. I've noticed WWE crowds have been pretty milquetoast lately. Take that with a short build and the fact that it's in Indianapolis, a place that isn't known for it's hot crowds and you're probably going to be able to hear a pin drop during certain matches.
My questions is, what can I, as a wrestling fan do to get the crowd noisy? Has anyone here been able to wake up a crowd? Or seen someone else do it? I know some people say "Well the build sucked so they earned their dull crowd," but honestly, a lousy match is about 100 times more entertaining if the crowd is into it.

Make a bunch of signs for someone and hand them out to your section.
If they have signs, they'll feel more like cheering.

Fire a few rounds in the air. That will get people to make some noise.

there's no way that you're going to pump the crowd up so just yell out hilarious things during matches. "Kill him some more, Big Red!" etc.

Get as many chants going as possible. For every match.
That is your mission. We're counting on you.

Start a small greasefire and then put it out immediately. Forget I am saying this, but still do it.

At a Raw last January in Kansas City everybody in my group managed to get a wave go all the way around the arena during one of the commercial breaks.

Every show I've been to has had hot crowds (the joy of being an English crowd) so I've been able to start a few chants and claps of encouragement. Fairly easy over here, although usual crowds are probably trickier.

A guy will take them all up and say "that many signs will ruin the backdrop" oh yea? SCREW YOU SECURITY!!! I worked hard on all 100 YES signs for Raw 1000!!!!!

work out who the crowd are favouring around you and chant loudly for the other guy, don't be abusive or direct anything toward the people around, but just show deep passionate support for whoever is hated. The people around you will hopefully try to drown you out.

Simple chants, don't be shy if they fail, but don't chant 100 times per match either. Energy rubs off on people, if you get up and into it then others around you will too. No need for signs if you think it may be a drag, even though they do help

Tell everyone in your section that you have cake. That will get them pumped up.

Dress up as Alex Riley. Your mere presence will blow the roof off.

Dress up as Alex Riley. Your mere presence will blow the roof off. Make sure you have a recording of his theme handy. It always gets a reaction.

Anybody remember the guy who brought like 35 signs that spelled out KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH! ? That got me pumped...from home!

I'm not proud of that, but at the Breaking Point PPV in Montreal, I started a SHUT THE F UP chant at Dolph Ziggler in the Pat Patterson segment... next thing I know, practically everybody in the crowd was chanting it.
