The Miz hosted Miz TV with special guest Sheamus. Kofi Kinston and Big Show got involved. Sheamus asked Show for a rematch. Show walked out. Miz was eventually thrown out of the ring.
1. The Prime Time Players beat Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio.
The reported tag match was just Darren Young defeating Sin Cara in singles action. Rey Mysterio and Titus O'Neil were at ringside but did not compete in that match. A post-match promo with Young and Titus led to Teddy Long making Rey vs. Titus in singles action. Rey won that match.
2. Wade Barrett beat Randy Orton when Alberto Del Rio interfered.
3. The Great Khali defeated David Otunga.
There was a great backstage segment with Orton and Del Rio that ended with Matt Striker's face in a cake.
The backstage segment with Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton with Matt Striker getting put face first into a cake started with Striker interviewing Del Rio when Orton attacked him. They brawled around backstage and into catering. Orton poured coffee and soup on Ricardo Rodriguez before putting Del Rio through a table. Striker then caught the cake. Orton vs. Del Rio in a Falls Count Anywhere Match was announced for the next tapings that come from England.
4. R-Truth defeated Justin Gabriel.
5. Big Show and The Miz defeated Sheamus and Kofi Kingston.
After the main event, Sheamus came out and challenged Big Show. Sheamus ended up delivering the Brogue Kick to Big Show, presumably in a dark segment.

Barrett beating Orton aside, this sounds like a pretty missable show. Khali returning out of nowhere can't make for good tv. When was the last time he was on either of the shows?

Has Smackdown become the show in which wrestlers avenge their losses from RAW, only for it to be rarely referenced again?

A match listing says nothing about the show really.

Am I going insane or did that "Del Rio costs Orton a match against Barrett" deal happen last week as well?
Beyond lazy.

Looks like a pretty weak show although it's ood to see that Barrett and the PTP's won. Not looking forward to Khali returning though. Truth/Gabriel sounds interesting considering they're both faces. Wonder if they're turning one of them.

Can they stop running Wade's possible feuds into the ground on TV? Can he do something, like a promo?

Barrett wins the FAN Championship!
Wish they'd stop hot-shotting the belt, though. That's 3 champs in 4 matches.

Yeah they've really dropped the ball on Barrett. He had those cool vignettes for his return, but ever since he's returned he's just kind of fallen into the background due to WWE's even steven booking. To me a title feud with him and Sheaums was a no brainer as it was fresh and they have good chemistry. Instead though they've just kind of used him as a pawn in other people's feud, first with Sheamus/Show and now Orton/Del Rio. He's picked up a few good wins against Orton out of it but he's also a had a few very unecessary losses to both Orton and Sheamus that has hurt any pontential momentum.

Hey, sudden Khali appearance Not that anyone really cares that much, but my cousin (firefighter) was working detail at the SmackDown taping in Providence last week. Not a fan of WWE, but noted who he saw from the show backstage. He mentioned a huge guy, really ugly odd-shaped face, with "Playboy" on his pants. He was supposed to wrestle, but didn't. I guess this was last week's plan. So sad that was cut from the tapings I saw

I was really hoping we'd get more Orton/Del Rio, so I'm happy to see this. I think there's a lot of story left to be told here and I'd love to see this feud carry on at least to the Royal Rumble and maybe even to WrestleMania.
Yeah, no.

Ugh, Khali is back for meaningless matches. I don't mind him being used as a "special attraction", but not full time.

Smackdown is literally ECW to me now, they got their one shiny title and a bunch of midcard matches, but it pales in comparison to RAW and hell even Main Event gets more hype than it these days.
