I have a question that has nothing to do with John Cena as he appears on WWE TV. If you're thinking of posting a "clever" remark about your distaste of the man, please adjourn to the Cena Hate Thread. Thank you.
Now, my question. I've read several allusions to the fact that Cena's album was a fairly big success. Could someone give some more details? How many albums has he sold? Has it gotten critical acclaim? Is it successful for a wrestler or successful for any rapper? Any facts/figures would be appreciated.

The album, as I recall, never entered the top ten on Billboard, but considering how billions of hip-hop albums are produced every year, with each performer trying to become the next big thing in hip-hop, Cena's standings in the rankings was very impressive. I think he got as high as #14 on the hip-hop charts.

According Wikipedia it entered the Billboard charts at no. 15 after that... I'm curious too.

I heard the album did pretty well, and I also heard people speak highly of it. I think it sold pretty well too. It didn't sell insane amounts, but certainly pretty well for a wrestler especially.

I believe it sold over 50,000 copies in the first week. It dropped pretty quick after all the wrestling fans bought their copies though. The Best Buy I bought mine from ordered a lot of copies and sold out on the day of release. It got mostly good reviews too. I liked it.

It's sold over 100,000 copies to date I believe.
