Honestly, I think that Swagger is fine as he is and doesn't need a gimmick change or repackaging, but they may have to give him a "forced mega-push" of sorts (except that he has the talent to back it up).

I think he should come back as somewhat of a bum, with his hair grown out a bit, some facial hair, and a green army jacket.
