I've never really been a fan, but I hope he stays. I don't think we've seen all he has to offer. His yo-yo booking would've hurt anyone in his place. Give him a decent mouthpiece and a fresh start. They might as well give him a run as a face if the alternative is cutting him loose. I think he could do well as a goofy face.
Of course, if the man wants to be with his family then I wouldn't want the company to get in his way. But if they have "nothing for him" creative need a slap once again.

I think Christian missed a WWE show for that, thus missed a pay day. WWE is salary based not appearance based, he got paid either way. He didn't want to go because he doesn't like TNA

To me Swagger is one of a select few few Superstars who i think only need a good match (not even necessarily a win) with the right opponent to get pushed. Swagger has a pretty good chemistry with a bunch of guys from all levels of the card. He meshes amazingly well with smaller opponents like John Cena, Zack Ryder, Alex Riley, and of course, his Best of 100 series against Evan Bourne. And back body drop botch aside, I enjoyed his encounters with Ryback. He should be a Kurt Angle/Brock Lesnar hybrid. An brutish, yet technically sound beast who still has a bit of a comedic side. I think he would be better fit as a heel. As a face, it would be very difficult to see a guy of his size and background as an underdog.

"nd there are those that believe that Swagger does not want to join TNA since TNA pays -- in most cases -- a third of what WWE pays." A third? Hot damn. To be fair it's not like for like, like guys jumping from WWE to WCW, TNA has a far lighter schedule, which is part of their appeal to WWE guys, so their paying some guys less is just common sense.

Still don't really see what he brings to the table. A good sized jobber without micskills, thats what he is.

That used to be true but TNA has adopted a more WWE like schedule with their house shows. And Christian's beef with TNA stems from his issues with Jeff Jarrett. He wanted Jarrett removed from power due to he felt his policies and booking was holding back TNA. Dixie Carter sided with Double J. Christian left when his contract was up. Jarret is finally removed from power a year later only because he was doing Angle's ex-wife.

Let's put an end to this Christian hated TNA thing. This is how the dirtsheets work. They take a minor half truth of a slight disagreement and turn it into NOOKLEAR HEATZZZZEZ. From everything I've heard, he loved TNA and the people there. His only complaint during his entire tenure (which may or may not have led to the split) was that they wouldn't let him take his slaves on the road.
