Christian was miserable in TNA? That's news to me...

WWE Could take a page out of TNA's book and throw everything at Swagger to stay.

Yeah, I've never really heard anything about Christian hating his time in TNA. He's never been ultra super positive but he's not telling WCW esque stories about what a nightmare it was.

Hopefully this is false and he's coming back with a push behind him.

Swagger's been away from the weekly Raw/Smackdown rotation long enough that a face turn could be plausible. Perhaps something like that and/or a repackaging would get him back into the thick of the main event scene. A feud with Cesaro for the US title could be a starter.

Swagger may figure if he's unhappy with his job, he may as well have one where he gets to see his wife and son on a regular basis. Would suck if he left though, I think he has all the talent in the world in the ring and WWE has just been absolutely wasting him for more than 2 years now.

Wouldn't surprise me. I've always thought Swagger seemed like the type who was in the business for a while to make some money and then get out with his health. He's already a former world champion and they're never going to push him to that level again, so him being done wouldn't really surprise me.

They get good time to establish themselves as heels, he gets to toss around Slater and look like the big clueless jock face he was meant to be.

I want him to stay, but if he wants to go, and it delays or minimizes the dreaded Spring Cleaning, by all means let him go.
He's established enough in the WWE that he could make a decent living on the indies.

"nd there are those that believe that Swagger does not want to join TNA since TNA pays -- in most cases -- a third of what WWE pays."
A third? Hot damn.

He's better off gone at this point. If he hasn't broken through the glass ceiling by now, he never will. At least maybe some extended break may allow him to work on some ring psychology, which he so desperately lacks.

For what it's worth i've heard that Christian thing before. I heard he wasn't happy, i've heard Booker wasn't particular happy either.
I also heard that Christian was very much against appearing for TNA earlier this year.

I also heard that Christian was very much against appearing for TNA earlier this year. I've heard that too. And I heard that it really bummed Christian out that countless fans at airports and other public places would constantly ask "Why don't you wrestle anymore?" when he was in TNA and appearing on Impact regularly.

"A third of what WWE pays", seems like TNA's raised there salaries. Seriously though, being a former World Heavyweight champion, Swagger could probably negotiate and get whatever he wants from TNA. If it's more time off and less time on the road to be with his family, and the promise of a title shot, I could actually see him going to TNA. Forget hitting the glass ceiling at WWE, dude's on the express elevator going down.

I think Christian missed a WWE show for that, thus missed a pay day.
