He was most famous for playing Corporal Jones in the classic sitcom Dad's Army. He was actually only 48 when he played that role, so everyone always thought he was older than he was. He also had a #1 hit with 'Grandad'. RIP Jones.

This is sad. I'm a big fan of Dad's Army (as I hope is obvious from my sig ) so rest in peace Jonesey. It's also sad to think that now there's only one member of the Platoon left alive, good ol' Pikey.

RIP, yeah. Just the vicar, warden and stupid boy left now, isn't it? Mrs Fox who was in a fair few episodes is still about too, though very old, but I think that's about it. Very sad to see us lose Clive Dunn: proper TV legend that no one has a bad word to say about.
