IWA Australia was on one of the obscure pay TV channels. NWA On Fire used to be on Channel One when that first started.

On The Mat was quite popular in New Zealand as it was on national TV,lasted almost ten years and featured a lot of international talent.
Also one of Ric Flair's phantom NWA title changes occurred on the show.

WSW/APW (the Portuguese one, not the American one) has a TV show here in Portugal that goes on this cable channel. However, since that channel is property of a certain football club, anyone who doesn't like that club will never see it. And seeing how that said channel is just on one cable provider (out of like 6 we have) diminishes it even more.
That and it's just in Portugal. So yeah, very obscure.

Back in '87 I was into a show very similar to Pro Wrestling Plus which was Pro Wrestling This Week, hosted by Joe Pedicino. PWTW had clips from promotions in Puerto Rico, Oregon, Memphis, Mexico, Continental Wrestling Alliance, Stampede, NWA, AWA, and WWF.
I also remember a small time promotion known as California Championship Wrestling which featured John and Chris Tolos, Steve Strong, Victor Rivera, Jimmy Snuka and some scrub who called himself Chief Jay Strongbow Junior. It's main announcer was Barry Richards, who was quite good on the mic, with decent voice and delivery. Still to this day I cannot believe that he never worked in the big leagues.
If I remember correctly CCW had a video package featuring a very young Shawn Michaels, prior to the Midnight Rockers.

I thought he had virtually disappeared from the surface of this planet after International Wrestling in Montreal folded in the mid-80's.

I remember him as Steve DiSalvo in Sampede Wrestling (that was pre-Minotaur as well).

Tons of PWTW exists. NJPW's European show was obscure. So was World Pro Wrestling which aired everything from USA in Japan. LPWA and the promotion Thesz ran with Brody was too.
