Alright, guys - I've posted dream threads here before, and they seem to be a semi-popular topic - so I'll try my hand once more.
I've had this dream... probably 3 or 4 times over the span of the last year-year and a half. I have no idea what it's supposed to mean, but it's almost the exact same story each time.
Basically, the dream is me going back to my middle school and meeting up with some of my old friends, one in particular (who, out of all of my old friends, I actually saw a couple years back before he took off for another state) in the cafeteria for some type of reunion. I know this because we're all present age, we're not the age we used to be.
However, the rest of my dream is just sort of me wandering around the school looking at all the old areas - typically by myself or with some other random person.
So, what do you guys think this dream means? I didn't think much of it the first time it happened - but now it's happened multiple times with almost the same script - so I figure it's got to have some kind of relevance to me - I just don't know what.

You miss Middle School and the friends you had back then. Simple.

Maybe, but to be honest, middle school wasn't a great time for me at all. I was bullied pretty often, and don't typically look back on it with fond memories.
But maybe deep down I miss it more than I thought. I don't know.

Something from around that time in your life affected how you turned out, and you're looking for it.
It's better than my recurring dreams of being chased by "Wildfire" Tommy Rich...

Yeah, that makes sense. Those years really shaped my self-esteem more than anything else - and I've been thinking about them a lot lately through soul searching and the like. I wonder what I'm looking for, though? That's the part that makes me wonder - the brain really is something, isn't it? We could swap recurring dreams if you'd like, that one don't sound too bad. ;D

To dream that you are in school signifies feelings of inadequacy and childhood insecurities that have never been resolved. It may relate to anxieties about your performance and abilities. If you are still in school and dream about school, then the dream may just be a reflection of your daily life and has no special significance.
Alternatively, a dream that takes place in school may be a metaphor for the lessons that you are learning from your waking life. You may be going through a "spiritual learning" experience.

I think it means "send The Sam $20". It's in the sub text.

Missing youth. Feeling as though it left you behind.

Well, I'm in school right now, but it's pretty much just online classes - it's not at the actual school. The rest of that makes sense, given my self-esteem that was largely shaped throughout those years. Hey, thanks to all of you for replying - I really appreciate it.

It means you have memories of those people, images, correct or not, of them as adults, and going to middle school.
Simple as that. I don't believe dreams mean anything beyond the sum of their parts. Do daydreams have meaning? Only what you put into them. Dreams from sleep simply don't have your conscious input unless you lucidly dream.
