Well, I was watching Adult Swim (The Cleveland Show) and I saw a TV spot for the special that's coming out next Monday Beforel Orel
And damn if that one minute long spot didn't make me want to watch the show proper.
If any FANs watched the show, in its original run or otherwise, would you suggest a good jumping in point? What I've read about the show makes me really interested.

Start from the beginning, its a surprisingly deep and smart show. Good continuity.

Start from the beginning, its a surprisingly deep and smart show. Good continuity. You can kind of pick and choose from Season 1 but 2-3 really need to be watched in order. Amazing, dark, depressing show.

I was surpised that the show's humor was so subtle but that's part of it's charm. Depressing as all hell at times but still a really good show.

It was a really brilliant show. It was deeper than nearly everything else Adult Swim has put on. The finale came close to making me shed tears. It was that emotional of an episode.

I love it, it was this show who introduced me to one of my favorite bands right now, the Mountain Goats, their songs really fit the mood of the episodes.

Great show. I like it when Adult Swim do something different. My favourite episode would be "The Best Christmas Ever", especially the ending, beautiful.

Watching every episode is recommended, but do make sure that you watch everything in order for at least everything after season 1.

I didn't care for season 1. I got into it when season 3 was coming out and the show was basically cancelled but damn if season 3 isn't the best, darkest shit ever

I don't think it really hit me while it was on air and I was still actually watching Adult Swim and enjoying it, but Moral Orel was really good. Now that I know this is happening, I'll try to hunt it down.

Like everyone else has said, this show was brilliant. Deep and powerful, depressing, fill off dark honor, and Orel is just so damn likable. He is the very definition of innocence, completely surrounded by all off this awful shit happening around him, with his family and his entire town pretty much falling apart. Just blows me away with how fantastic it is.
And yeah, I totally cried during the finale. Wanna fight about it?
