Back in 2009 on RAW, a battle royal was held to determine a challenger for either the WWE or World Title. What made this battle royal different was that none of the participants (with the exception of Randy Orton who whined his way in) had held either of the top titles.
Ultimately, Sheamus won that battle royal and made his way into main event status by defeating John Cena for the WWE title.
Now in 2012 I decided to simulate another Breakthrough Battle Royal to see who the FAN thinks is worthy of a title shot.
Here's how it works. Above are all the WWE Superstars who have never held either the WWE or World Championships.
Note: Even superstars that are currently injured (like Evan Bourne) are participating. For purposes of the contest just assume that they are healthy.
Every day you select two superstars you want to eliminate. The superstar with the most votes is eliminated. The last superstar left standing is the winner.

With these next two eliminations we have reached the halfway point in our battle royal. Heath & Drew of 3MB moved up the charts by eliminating Trent Barreta.
Meanwhile, Tensai grabbed Sin Cara and propelled him over the ropes. However, Cara landed on the apron. Tensai went knock Sin Cara off a big boot, but Cara slid under the boot and Tensai ended up straddling himself on the ropes. Then Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel joined Sin Cara to knock Tensai out with a triple dropkick.
Now 19 remain. Who is the next superstar to go?
