For those who had doubts about the Alberto/Miz heat back then (myself included), this pretty much adds to its validity.
He and Ricardo were doing an interview in Cleveland and the interviewer brought up the fact that Ricardo had to pretend to not know how to wrestle when he was needed in the ring.
It went a little something like this: Interviewer: "You make it look like you don’t know how to wrestle... How difficult is that?"
RR: "After seeing a lot of videos of people who actually don’t know how to wrestle--"
ADR: "And some of them WORK for us..."
RR: "And some of them work for us, so it's kind of monkey-see, monkey-do--"
ADR: "AND ONE OF THEM IS FROM HERE."
I mean... it's either Miz or Bateman... and as if he has any issue with Bateman.
(Also, how cool is it that Ricardo is being interviewed now? Usually, it's just Alberto being sent to media interviews but now they come out as a two-for-one deal.)

I'd say it's either part of a joke, or he's being rather unprofessional.

I get that old school guys (JBL, for example) might have had issues with a guy like Miz "not paying his dues" by being on a reality show etc etc, but that was years ago. Miz has more than earned his spot. What IS Del Rio's problem with the guy?

Del Rio usually comes off as a cool dude in interviews. In the sense he is nothing like his character, but at the same time he also comes off a douche in every other aspect.

Del Rio has always seemed to have an air of arrogance and elitism around him, but considering his pedigree, I can see where he's coming from. However, considering how utterly unspectacular he's been in the last year or so, he's got room to talk.

I'd get if he was great in everything and over, and then he would say these words. But saying things like this in every single interview is just stupid. Doesn't matter if it's Miz or not,the guy is still a douche. I'd get it if you're Punk and say this stuff, but what does Del Rio bring to the table to be able to say these words? I'm not denying he's a good wrestler, but his only enjoyable matches are with stipulations and the guy absolutely sucks other than that area. Miz is more over than he will ever be,didn't get handed all those accomplishments in his first year, way better than him on the mic,and IMO,his matches are more enjoyable than Del Rio.
I'd get it if someone with a wrestling caliber of Punk or Bryan was saying this, but Del Rio putting this much hate on someone is laughable.

Alberto comes across as a douche here. Especially when it isn't really true since Miz is a decent wrestler. Yeah, he's never gonna be a CM Punk or Daniel Bryan but he can still usually put on a good match.
Maybe Alberto should spend less-time badmouthing other wrestler's in-ring skills and more time developing a personality because he's one of the most boring guys in the WWE and has been for over a year now.

I'm sure that people insulting the Miz is just a part of the current "reality era" (even if it's based on real feelings) as it fits into his gimmick perfectly. It's almost like they're told that if they feel the need to put down other wrestlers make sure it's The Miz.

I don't like The Miz, but frankly, I'd much rather watch him than Del Rio any day. ADR is one of the most boring people I've seen in recent years.

I know a lot of wrestlers diss Miz, but Alberto really comes off as a douche saying it time after time.

Yeah I watched that last night. Awkward moment. But I'm very glad they're including Ricardo in these as well now.

I'm a big Miz fan, and not so much an ADR fan, but I think if he says that he probably has his reasons, "real life heat", if it's just because he was in a reality tv show, well he's dumb and kinda pathetic, but I think there's more than that, seeing as he says that he doesn't like him a lot.

Del Boring has no place to talk about anyone, in ring or on mic, when he's the Blandest of the Bland.
