You want to know why (Vince) isn't a billionaire? It's because he surrounds himself with gladhanding douchebag yesmen like John Lauranaitis who is going to tell him everything he wants to hear. You like men kissing your ass, don't you, Vince?

And I like to think maybe this company will be better after Vince McMahon's dead, but the fact is its gonna get taken over by his idiotic daughter and his doofus son-in-law and the rest of his stupid family. Let me tell you a personal story about about Vince McMahon, alright. You know we do this whole bully camp-- /mic gets cut off, starts shouting, "I'm the best thing you've got! I'm the best in the world!"/

Hardly anyone who we think of as a billionaire - is a billionaire. Most of them have in excess of a billion dollars with of assets. There's a difference.
My house might be worth $500,000 but if I still earn $12 an hour, then that's really how 'rich' I am, unless I sell my house.
Not many people make the distinction between 'rich' as in personal wealth and 'rich' as in asset-rich. Vince would only be a billionaire - or even close, if he paid himself a salary every year equivalent to the whole revenue that the company makes each fiscal calendar.
He's not cash-poor but with Linda spending $90m on her failed election but I'd be surprised if there was any more than few million actual cash swirling around in the McMahon's bank accounts. He'll add to that and of course he COULD sell WWE tomorrow and get about $500m for it.
But this idea he's ever sat there with a $1bn in his account is nonsense. He's never ever been anywhere close. Nor have most 'billionaire' businessmen.

The underlying resentment towards Backlash as a whole is the best part. He's like, pissed off that he didn't get to call it, not because it's an insult, but because the PPV is so cut rate, that him not being good enough to call such a turd is the real slap in the face. Hilarious. It is one of my favorite sentiments expressed on WWE TV. In a way it's made me like Backlash a lot more, simply because I smile when I read or hear it and think of Joey's anger.

My favorite pipebomb. Punk has NOTHING on the passion and frustration that Styles seemed to deliver this with. The whole thing made me want to stand up and applaud.

Since day one that I've been in WCW, I have done nothing- NOTHING but deal with the bullshit of the politics behind that curtain. I got a wife and three kids and I don't need this shit.

Hilarious. That still cracks me up every time. It should have turned into his gimmick. Every year around Backlash, Joey Styles could just freak out about how meaningless he thinks that show is. "BACKLASH - you people are talking about BACKLASH??"

What really irritates me is that Vince McMahon has got 'Marvelous' Marc Mero wrestling a JOBBER! You see, 'Marvelous' Marc Mero always wins. A jobber always loses. You are a JABRONI! You're a nobody. In fact, You're not Sal Sincere the pizza delivery boy, your name is Tom Brandi! They gave you this stupid gimmick and you did it. You should be ashamed of yourself!
Jim Ross: Yeah, and you're a BAAAAAAD man.

"FRUSTRATED ISN'T THE GODDAMN WORD FOR IT! THIS IS BULLSHIT! You screwed me, everybody screwed me, and nobody does a goddamn thing about it! Nobody in the bulding cares, nobody in the dressing room cares! So much goddamned injustice around here, I have had it up to here! Everybody knows it, I know it, everybody knows that I should be the World Wrestling Federation Champion! Everybody just keeps turning a blind eye! You keep turning a blind eye to it! I've got that Gorilla Monsoon, he turns a blind eye to it! Everybody in that dressing room knows that I am the best there is, the best there was, and the best that there ever will be! If you don't like it, tough shit!"

He mentally tortured Paul Bearer, forcing him to play dodgeball and smothering him in pizza and buffalo wings.

"You know what? I'll tell you what - I was told backstage to come out here, and they said "Joe, the fans love you, and if there's one thing they trust, it's you, and we want you to go out there, and we want you to tell these people something that'll make them satisfied with the fact that SCOTT HALL NO-SHOWED THIS EVENT TONIGHT."

My favorite pipebomb. Punk has NOTHING on the passion and frustration that Styles seemed to deliver this with. The whole thing made me want to stand up and applaud. Agreed. I've always felt the legendary Punk promo was trailing behind Joey's promo and not even close to Heyman's pre-Survivor Series promo.
