I never cared for just Jay Lethal to much, but I really miss his Black Machismo character. His Savage impression was uncanny, he was hilarious, but believable. Am I alone on this?
To keep this a discussion who do you miss in TNA?

I loved Black Machismo. I would like to have seen him play the character seriously rather than as a parody eventually.

If WWE wants to turn AJ Lee into the new "Miss Elizabeth" like Meltzer says they do, they should hire Jay and have him do the Machismo gimmick and (if TNA doesn't own it) "steal" her away from Cena.

SNAKE ROBERTS RUINED MY WEDDING. That's what sold me on the gimmick, is when he started tossing in the random ass references with little relevance to the situation at hand

I hated this gimmick the entire time. He got over by just pretending to be someone else. Black Machismo got into serious feuds, he wasn't just a comedy jobber. He actually won titles.

Jay Lethal as "Ric Flair" was far more interesting than "Black Machismo". That is just my opinion.

Most people can do a Savage impersonation. His Flair impression was so brilliant.

Lethal needed color or he would have been back on the insurance loop by the end of 06. It was entertaining and he made it his own. I miss him and I believe he will be back in TNA.

Jay has a natural gift for mimicry. His impressions of both Savage and Flair were terrific, and worthy of any serious TV/movie/stage actor. I'd love to see him again.

Gizzarkhenery, if that was a joke, it wasn't funny. If you are serious and do not know what I meant, allow me a short explaination. Lethal was a solid in ring worker and was popular but not over. He was plain. No variety, no POP, no color.

I loved how he started confusing people for the 80s WWF roster. The Guns were The Rockers, Kong was Kamala, etc.
