Lackluster in the ring.
Awkward, silly looking finisher.
A bland overall look - with the goofiest facial expressions when he is trying to look angry and intimidating.
Had the Koslov treatment of very, very slowly making his way up from independent talent and then just being shot to the top.
The thing that gets me the most though is that whatever overness he has achieved is completely unorganic, its a direct results of the machine saying 'cheer this guy' because they want us to.
Meanwhile (having been at that show in UK Birmingham) Daniel Bryan is about a million times as over at least in terms of crowd response.
And as much as I love Team Hell No - Daniel should be the one fighting with Punk on top of HIAC, and now in the triple threat with Cena.

This inorganic stuff is such nonsense.
I hate that its gotten to a point where if you get over and WWE wants you to, its a negative.

I can understand not liking Ryback one bit, but I don't agree with the "unorganic" part. WWE wanted the audience to cheer, but could not force them to do so. How many times have they pushed wrestlers they wanted people to cheer, but no one cared to do so?

If we're talking about organic pushes, Bryan isn't the best example. He was introduced as a special surprise entrant in the main event of Summerslam for his first proper match not as an NXT rookie.

I hate House, his character is so inorganic. He's just a result of the writers trying to make a character likable. Meanwhile, Kutner got cut from show way too early instead of wrestling with cancer inside Hell in a Cell.
Wait what was I saying again

Its more the fact that, since April Daniel Bryan has been getting stronger reactions. WWE finally manages to get the crowd to take a short break from chanting 'Goldberg' and suddenly the guy is being built as the next big thing.

Daniel Bryan had world title matches at every PPV from the Rumble to Money in the Bank. Even Cena takes breaks from them.

Yeah it's so inorganic how WWE has told us to cheer him and then we cheered him.
Every time WWE does that it works. It's just unfair WWE!

Wait what was I saying again It's more like if House was a sitcom filmed in front of a live studio audience and they trot him out every episode for 4 minutes to spout off some jokes which no one finds particularly funny. Then Wilson walks out and everyone is crying from laughter. Then six months later - the audience still doesn't find House funny, Wilson is still in the show's B plot but hey, at least they chant 'Everybody lies' when House is leaving the set.

Yeah there's just this gap where some guys they go out of their way to get some cheered, but don't necessarily respond when the crowd cheers someone they're NOT trying to get you to.
But past all that, I just don't enjoy anything about Ryback's presence. Everything involving him has to cover up his weaknesses, and super destroyer invincible babyface is far too common now.

You know, jokes aside, it's...not a contest. We are not supposed to be fighting the writers. They offer us something, and if we like it, we cheer for it. Like people are doing for Ryback. If we don't like it, we ignore it, like Alberto Del Rio not getting cheered at all. It's okay to see someone having a dramatic introduction and being like "Hey, that's cool" as opposed to "HEY YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE ME THINK HE IS COOL BY WRITING HIM AS BEING COOL." That's like being mad at, say, Sherlock's(tv show, but book applies too) writers by introducing the character in a funny, cool way. Yes they are trying to make you like the character. That's...how good writing usually goes.
We aren't supposed to be offended when they offer us something and be like "No, I only like it when I steal it. If you are going to give it to me then it's not fun anymore." I mean we are fans, not...cats.
...Are we?

They gave Ryback a good and memorable, easy to chant catchphrase and had him stand out as an unbeatable monster. So yeah, it's no surprise that he got over.
But the guy can only do a couple of moves and he's so one-dimensional that I doubt he'll be a top-level star for very long before crowds start turning on him.

Ryback for me is the worst wrestler in the company and i dont believe he is over as people are making him out to be. Hes plain and simply awful in every way.

I also think it's a short-lived thing where his character doesn't have or allow for the depth to do anything, and eventually it's going to get really old, if it hasn't already.

Funny how you come up with two examples that are the complete opposite of your point. Sheamus flopped during his first big heel push and Lashley was never over. Nice try though.
