Yep, it's Monday again. 24 hours removed from Survivor Series, RAW comes to you live from Dayton, Ohio, and we are looking at possibly one of the most anticipated RAWs in quite a long time.
WWE Champion CM Punk will make it to 365 days as the standard bearer of professional wrestling, but it was with a little help from developmental standouts Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (also, Roman Reigns), who took out Ryback in the Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series, allowing Punk to pin John Cena. Why did they do this? Are they in cahoots with Punk and Paul Heyman? And will these men face the same fate as Brad Maddox? Find out tonight.
World Heavyweight Champion Big Show also escaped with his gold by the skin of his teeth (by the way, the skin of his teeth is thicker than the skin on most average-sized bodies), dropping a DQ loss to Sheamus, but paid for his sin in full with Sheamus unleashing an almighty chair assault and a Brogue Kick. Will Sheamus stake his claim for another title shot? Or will Big Show move on to a new challenger?
Dolph Ziggler might have finally turned a corner. After a rough stretch of losses for Mr. Money In The Bank, Ziggler was the sole survivor in a quality Elimination Tag Team Match, drilling Randy Orton with a super kick that would make a certain San Antonian find his smile all over again. Is the sky the limit for the Show Off?
For Ziggler's business associate, Grand Poobah of RAW Vickie Guerrero, it was a mixed night. While AJ Lee tried to embarrass her with "photo evidence" of affairs with assorted WWE talent, Vickie would be the one with the last laugh as AJ was assaulted by a returning Tamina Snuka. Was it just a random assault by Jimmy's little girl? Or is Tamina the newest talent to go under Vickie's management?
Of the midcard champions in action on Sunday, only US Champion Antonio Cesaro was victorious (because IC Champion Kofi Kingston, Tag Team Champions Kane and Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan were on the losing end of the aforementioned Elimination Tag Team Match). With R-Truth now by the wayside, who will step up to the Swiss Sensation next?
Divas... well, Eve Torres retained her belt, even though Kaitlyn thwarted Aksana's attempt to ambush her again. Something will happen, probably.
All that, and we find Bigfoot too, TONIGHT on RAW!
