This thread is overdue. Out of all of the stables that I could think of that for the most part only featured 3 men, what is your favorite/the best one?

Tough to argue against the original nWo as most influential, however short-lived it was.
Since "favorite" is an option, however, I went with the Freebirds.

I have to say, the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple, UltraMantis Black, Crossbones & Hydra at their peek were one of my personal favorite trios. They complimented each other so well and had alot of fun trio matches. I typically like trio style stables and so it's really hard for me to determine, but they would be probably near the top and they were the first ones that came to mind.

How bad is it that my first thought was 3 Count?
Damn you and your catchy boy band tunes!

I voted Demolition because they first introduced me to the three-man team. I'm just a tad too young for the Freebirds, so in my life as a wrestling fan the standard bearers are Axe, Smash, and Crush! It's both ironic and sad that the youngest of the three is the only one who is no longer with us, but the good news is that if you're lucky and you don't wait too many more years chances are you can still catch Axe and Smash at an indy show somewhere. They wrestled at a casino is Michigan just last week as a matter of fact.

Hands down, the Fabulous Freebirds. To me, when there's a rule named in your honor in the sport for alternating 3 guys to wear a tag team title, that means you've been pretty influential in the business.

Freebird, easily the Freebirds Yes, I too have much love for the Freebirds however I recall Mike Hegstrand, Joe Laurinatis and Paul Ellering putting the hurt on them, routinely. Legion of Doom FTW.

The Freebirds. Hayes was a heat machine, Buddy had a more "straight to the point" obnoxious promo style and never lost his heat no matter how times he got beat (or lost his hair), and Terry Gordy just destroyed people. Plus they had one of the most bad ass moves I've ever seen: the three man spike piledriver on the floor.

I know these are just opinions, but who the f*** voted for the Mean Street Posse & X-Factor over teams like the Freebirds and the nWo? I'm sure it was a joke, I'd just like to hear the punchline
In my dreams, I wished the Freebirds had reunited and feuded with the nWo
