After watching Die Another Day recently (which I don't think deserves as much hate as it gets), I got to thinking about how Brosnan got replaced by Daniel Craig. I love Craig as Bond, I think he's the best since Connery. But I think Pierce had another Bond film left in him. He was 49 when DAD came out and while his age was starting to show he wasn't exactly Roger Moore either. I do think he had another good Bond film in him, and maybe he could've got a better send off than Die Another Day.

No. Brosnan was a good Bond who frequently had terrible writing behind him, and he could've had another Bond earlier because there was a little while in between a couple of them, but not later.

Oh God no. Brosnan was the worst Bond. If he had done another we wouldn't have got the masterpiece that is Casino Royale.

His movies were just getting more and more ridiculous as they went on. I can't imagine how bad a 5th Brosnan one would have been.

Great Bond, with increasingly awful movies.

I'd rather have more Tim Dalton Bonds than more Pierce Brosnan Bonds.
Though, in answer to your question, I wouldn't mind seeing a 5th Brosnan Bond flick, providing they made it less stupid than Die Another Day, but I'm not upset that his run ended with 4 flicks and we got Daniel Craig, who is phenomenal.

It starts off good, then the flow is completely cut off when they stop and spend a huge chunk of the film playing poker. Its like the only time I've yelled "hurry up!" at a movie. Then Bond's car gives him CPR, and then Bond's girl dies in some confusing twist/cliffhanger ending. About the only positive I can say about the movie is that Daniel Craig does play James Bond very well. I know alot of people love the movie, and thats great. I just didn't like it.

No, he was becoming increasingly feminized.

Yes, he should've done a 5th and a 6th. However, obligations to Remington Steele stopped that from happening. If those weren't there, he'd have been Bond in The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill.

He is my Bond. But, die another day hurts me to think about, I would be afraid of how bad the next would have been. The other day we asked if liam niesen would be a good bond villain. I will up the ante. I want Pierce as a bond villain opposite Craig. Half of us would die of hyperventelation brought on by AMS(Adult Markout Syndrome)

Depends on the script. I don't think he would have suited Casino Royale and I don't think DAD is that bad but if they had got a decent writer then yeah why not
Roger Moore is by far the worst bond for me regardless

I wish that was the case. Daniel Craig isn't bad but he's kind of dull and humorless. I felt Brosnan is one of the most well rounded Bond's. Than again the only Daniel Craig Bond film I didn't find meh to was Quantum of Solace so take that as you will.

I'd rather we never had Brosnan, I would've preferred to see Timothy Dalton take over as Bond in 1973 and run with it until 2002. There are a lot of Moore and Brosnan films that would've been better with him in the role. (See: The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill, Goldeneye, and TWINE.) Then again I'm a huge Dalton fan.

Great Bond, with increasingly awful movies. That's just it, I loved Brosnan, but other then Goldeneye the movies were all s***. No way. The World Is Not Enough is by far my favorite Bond movie. Sure it was ridiculous on Transporter 2's level but they were never anything more then popcorn flicks. Plus Michele Yeoh is probably the best Bond girl they will ever have, beautiful for her age and just as deadly.

World is not enough was the shitty one where Bond fought a guy who could feel no pain that was seduced by a woman who thought Bond wouldn't shoot her because she had sex with him. Also Denise Richards: Nuclear Physicist.

Die Another Day being the movie equivalent of a stealth pilot to the Jinx character pretty much KO'd all idea of him being Bond in my eyes. Between a horrible script with horrible actors playing horrible parts, He became a co-main character. James Bond was not the sole star of a James Bond movie.
And I'm sure Halle Berry is still waiting on the phone call for the Jinx spin-off film.
