Tyler Reks comes out under the name "Tyler Ricks," along with five other men named Rick who all act as his managers.
Whenever Tyler throws an opponent over the top rope, all five of the Ricks gain up on him and beat him to the point of unconsciousness. Interestingly, the announcers and general manager do not acknowledge the Ricks.
This eventually leads Tyler Ricks to the main event scene, where he eventually breaks Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania due to the Ricks essentially being invisible.
For the next several months, Darren Young is the only person who is aware of the Ricks. The Ricks are actually quite weak in terms of defense; problems arise when the people under attack by the Ricks do nothing since they cannot see them. Normally they just report falling ill with pain and fatigue after a defeat to Tyler Ricks.
After two months, Richard Simmons begins managing Darren Young and is also able to see the Ricks. The story goes that the Ricks were all on one of Richard's "Sweatin' to the Oldies" videos. In order to systematically put the Ricks out of action, Richard Simmons douses them with human sweat (collected from Darren Young after several backstage scenes of Darren sweating from a variety of exercises administered by Richard). One by one, the Ricks fall and vanish from the WWE. Of course, none of this is acknowledged by anyone else.
After all of the Ricks are taken out, a final showdown between Tyler and Darren is set up; specifically, a three stages of hell match. The first stage: NoDQ match, which Darren wins. Second stage: Submission match, which Tyler eventually wins after applying a torture rack. The final stage is an inferno match, and, after fifteen minutes, Tyler seems to have won, until...
Richard: "REFEREE, REFEREE, THE CONTRACT FOR THIS MATCH STATED THAT ANY NORMAL MATCH VICTORY WOULD BE OVERRULED BY HOW MUCH SWEAT THE SUPERSTAR PRODUCES. LOOK AT DARREN."
It's blatantly obvious at this point: Darren Young is caked in sweat and, while Tyler was indeed sweating, his amount was nothing in comparison. In the end, Tyler gets suspended for violating the WWE's Wellness Policy.
