Why didn't teams like Cryme Tyme or the Mexicools win the tag belts....well I know one reason why, they put the belts on randomly placed teams. For example, The Mexicools won the right to face MNM for the belts at Armageddon 2005, but instead it was a regular tag match because MNM lost the belts to Batista & Mysterio on the Smackdown before the PPV and never got their shots.
Cryme Tyme won a Tag Team Turmoil match at New Years Revolution 2007 to possibly face Rated RKO for the tag titles but they never did because they lost it to the thrown together team of John Cena & Shawn Michaels

How Rick Rude and Mr. Perfect never got a world title run, I'll never know. To be fair, Perfect did have a year long reign as AWA world champion, and Rick Rude was WCW International Heavyweight Champion. So they got more then Piper or Roberts ever had.

Kaientai in 2001. They were starting to win matches and were getting over.
Tatanka. It's not like the WWE tag titles meant much, I wanted to see him and Matt Hardy with the belts.

Elijah Burke/D'Angelo Dinero. He hasn't won a title since OVW. That's pretty sad.

wait...Cryme Tyme didn't win tag gold? That's crap. That shows how much WWE cared about the tag titles between 2006 until now. Fans can't even remember who had the titles. Remember Deuce and Domino by any chance?

To add to that, I don't even get why he didn't win the IC title at some point during his original reign. He had the streak, was hella over, and challenged for the IC belts several times. I think either Wrestlemania IX or sometime after that would be the best time. To add to that thread, its amazing how 2 pages gone by and nobody mentioned The Rockers(officially that is).

Serena should have been a Divas champion Yeah, that 8-month run on the main roster where she got fired for not sticking to her gimmick really should have earned her a title reign....

I'm in the extreme minority on this...
But I think Barry Horowitz and Hakushi should have been Tag Team Champions.

Cryme Tyme never having a Tag Title run baffles me because for a long time they were the most over Tag Team in the WWE.
It wasn't even close, either. They were far and away the WWE's most popular Tag Team, and the WWE didn't pull the trigger once.
Those guys as Tag Champs should've been a license to print money, money, yeah, yeah!
I could kinda see why guys like Piper, Mr. Perfect, Rick Rude, and Jake the Snake were never WWF Champion. It was a completely different time period.
The WWE had no excuse with Cryme Tyme in an era where Championship reigns are thrown around all the time.

Yea--they had mic skills, the audience in the palm of their hands, and were massively over...but WWE never did anything with them. They just broke them up without even letting them get a title run when they could've revived the division. It was dumb, I have no explanation for it.

Cryme Tyme out of sympathy. They couldn't even get a title match while officially being the number 1 contenders.

Jake Roberts. Atleast the IC gold. This, however it made his gimmick that much creepier when it felt like he had other motives. You can always make the argument that Jake was one of those guys like Piper that didn't even need a belt.

Vader. He goes from being slated to win the World Title at Summerslam 96 to finishing his WWF career completely empty-handed.

They just broke them up without even letting them get a title run when they could've revived the division. It was dumb, I have no explanation for it. See, I have a theory. Not a very good one, but it's still a theory. My guess is that before Edge got injured, they were going to have him and Jericho lose the belts to either Hart Dynasty or Cryme Tyme, turn Edge face, and have the both of them feud long before WM. Edge injures himself, Jerishow becomes awesome, and WWE creates a new theme for the two that gives them an excuse to keep them around for a while before Jericho loses to Trips again. In all that, they forget about Cryme Tyme, throw their arms up in defeat, and just split the two up, forgoing any other plans they had. Like I said...
