2009 was great just for Orton's minor flip out at the end when he kept pointing at the WM sign;
"On the ropes! On the ropes!"
"What? What?"

2010 was the best in my opinion because of the build into mania really began in the match itself.. for example - CM Punk's sermon on the mount to get the crowd riled up and excited to see him eliminated... hhh eliminated him and dominates till hbk, who is chasing after a second match against taker who is wh champ at the time, eliminates him because hbk percieves trip as a threat.... hbk and cena then square off till the end when batista, jericho & a returning edge comes in... batista the big heel of the time ruins hbk's dream eliminating him... edge gets revenge on jericho eliminating him...cena eliminates batista... batista distracts cena so that edge can eliminate him.
Looking at the mania that followed this rumble really set up the best mania in the last 10 years: Mania XXVII.
honorable mention: 2011

I'd go 2004. The best storyline of a Rumble (Benoit lasting over an hour, having to deal with Heyman forcing him to be number 1 in the first place), with consistently amusing moments (Foley/Orton brawl, SOMEBODY CALL MY MOMMA, Jericho/Angle/Benoit/Show battle in the final 4) and entertaining for the whole Rumble. Other than that...
1. 2004 2. 2005 3. 2008 4. 2010 5. 2007 6. 2009 7. 2011 8. 2006 9. 2003 10. 2002
2002 was just so damn generic outside of Perfect lasting that long and the Maven elimination, with a familiar meh ending. 2003 was probably the most generic and unspectacular Rumble of all time. 2006 had out of shape Triple H and Rey lasting way too damn long. And the rest are fine and jumbled together for the most part.

No one likes 2003? That's one of my favorite ones. That and 2008, which I was at.
It's easier for me to say which one I don't like, because I generally love all the Rumbles. 2006 is the only one that I still find painful to view.

2004, even with Chris Benoit winning, is this generation's version of the 1992 Rumble. Great roster, young talent bursting at the seams, Ernest 'the Cat' Miller, Undertaker gong, Big Show looking unstoppable, etc. Although I was at the 2008 Rumble, the 2004 Rumble is IMO the second best Rumble match all time, and the best match of all 2004!

2007 just edges 2008 for me. It was the first Rumble I watched after a lengthy break from wrestling. The Taker/ HBK 'match' within the Rumble match was fantastic and memorable. It was brilliant having them start off the 2008 match as well.

I'm honestly surprised at the love 2004 gets. As great as the Benoit Cinderella story was at the time, looking back at the Rumble match itself his performance in it isn't paricularly great or memorable except for how long he lasted. Compare that to Flair, Michaels etc., who went the distance and still had those moments you'll never forget.
I think 2005. Even with the error at the end, it wound up being the perfect ending and making the finish all the more magical. 2008 and 2010 come close.
Outside the most predictable finish in Rumble history, 2003 is a fun one as well.

I thought 2009 was great because of the huge amount of talent they had in the ring at one time. Like you go back and watch, the ring was full of guys that were big stars or guys that turned into stars.

Outside the most predictable finish in Rumble history, 2003 is a fun one as well. Michaels went the distance in the shortest and worst Rumble (by far) of all time, so that's a rather strange point. And Benoit had plenty of memorable moments, from lasting forever with the rising star of Orton to elimination Ernest The Cat/LaMont to reprising the Angle feud and finally, eliminating Show after he had thrown out Cena/Jericho/Angle. Plus, it's not like he pulled a Rey and sat around on the mat the entire time.

07 was my favorite I think, just ahead of 04. Taker finally winning it and having the showdown with Shawn at the end. So awesome.
