Also, Justin Roberts' face as he was introducing him was priceless.

I was telling my wife how excited I was about this guy debuting, and how much a monster bad ass he was..
And tonight I hear he is out next.. So I go building this guy up to my wife...
And He Comes Out
and my erection died...

This is the best possible use for him.
Let him be a joke face squashing low-card heels to amp up the crowd.
Better than him being another generic monster squashing people we care about.
I still hate the guy, but this could've gone a LOT worse. And with this gimmick, there's a small chance I'll eventually turn around on the guy. Like, if he actually learns to dance instead of just shimmying.

That was the most ridiculous, ludicrous debut ever, in all the right ways.

I'm pretty sure that Vince is just punking all the smarks at this point. You want Jericho? He won't talk! You want Brotus? He's a funkasaurus! You want punk as champion? He's gonna job to HHH first! I said in the Raw thread that either the WWE has become self aware, or they just don't give a f*** anymore. Either way, it's great.

Also, Justin Roberts' face as he was introducing him was priceless. When he said Planet Funk I was expecting something along the lines of Planet Staziak then I heard it............ Somebody call my mama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tazz and the 2004 has made that song permanently over with me. So needless to say I was shocked to hear it again and marked like a madman and I said this on a thread but we may finally get a full clear version of it now. SHEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! SHEEEEEPlex!!!!!!!!! and he used the Mike Knox flying cross body What's not to like?

I am now a fan of Brodus. I love the Over the top Characters, and I LOVE that.

I...I don't get it. Don't get me wrong, it was entertaining but, you build the guy up as a killer on NXT, Superstars and in video packages, then debut him as a joke? Yeah I was entertained as well (he looked like he was really having fun with it), but I mean, wasn't the build up: "the end of humanity" or something like that? WWE seems to be on a kick of running vignettes that are somewhat red herrings. I know the Jericho thing is building to something bigger, but I was similarly letdown in terms of how the vignettes were constructed. Like I said, I like Brodus, and am glad he's being used, and I think he works this gimmick well (and it does give him somewhere to go before an eventual monster push again) but I mean, are we going to see vignettes for a sinister Dean Ambrose so he can debut as an evil gas station attendant? Are they going to showcase Seth Rollins' athleticism in vignettes so they can debut him as an effeminate male gymnast? I don't know.

I absolutely lost it when he hit his first move and started strutting. This is the best idea ever.

Anything that involves Naomi wearing a tight red catsuit is fine by me.

I really don't know. I wanted him to debut and kill people and be a monster, because I think his offense looks pretty devastating and his squash matches are entertaining. His entrance blew my mind and made me laugh extremely hard...and then the match was stupid and killed my enjoyment for the night.

Not every wrestler needs to be destined for the main event. Sure it would be nice, but its gimmicks like this that keep the midcard fresh and fun.
