Ok WWE, you got me back. Brodus Clay is officially my lord and savior. I'm now a disciple of the church funk.

I think that I'm still trying to comprehend what exactly it was that I saw ten minutes ago...

Horrible. The best future Wrestlecrap candidate in a long time. His career might be DOA.

We need vignettes of Ryder and Clay hitting up some clubs, with Clay getting all the women. NOW.

It was nice to see the One Man Gang become Akeem again tonight.

So, is this the new way WWE is going to introduce people, by serious hype and then going as flamboyant as possible on the climax?

I thought it was both great and potentially Wrestlecrap. And I don't mean it could go either way, it's both simultaneously

Loved it. Loved it loved it loved it.
Complete 180 from what we all thought, the crowd seemed to dig it, I LOVE the talking during the match, he's got quite a bit of charisma and he could pay off from the inevitable turn into a monster in future.
Big, big fan of the funkasaurus. ALL ABOARD THE FUNK TRAIN!

Awesome. That is how you re-debut someone, calling it now, Brodus is going to get over HUGE with this gimmick (no pun intended), and there will be a straight 50/50 split between those that love it and those that hate it.

Absolutely awesome. People are going to hate on this hard, but it was entertaining. If Clay had come out as a grumpy King Hippo look alike, his push would've lasted as long as it took for someone to stop his rampage. Then, he most likely would be forgotten again. This at least gives him a jump off point for character progression.
Does anyone think that this might work back into him smashing his head a few months ago?
